    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Garret Smith ( Scammer )

Sorry, the screenshots would not all upload at the same time off my phone. The first pic is his updated ad. The second screenshot is his original ad using Markus's pic that he deleted. I figured someone who was interested in sending you thousands of dollars deserves a little more than a very lame 2 sentence reply. You could have sent me a crappy cell phone pic of the lizards in your possession and that would have been good enough for me.(If you actually had them at the time) Instead, you chose to not even respond to my question. Does that not scream guilty or at least shady? Awesome customer service dude!

Between 2-5 a.m. is actually the time I sleep, when I have to be awake early to bring my daughter in the kindergarten. I would also not expect you to answer right now as it is nighttime in the US.

Just to give you a small sight in my thinkings when I read all that things here:
I read a arguement between 2 people about a deal or whatever. And then I read like 50 posts of people who have actually nothing to do with that deal. I don´t think that is what this forum is about. I would never just comment on a topic that is not of my business. And also I see like 50 posts with one sentence from one writer. Just to make this post big. Just my opinion. Everyone can think different.

Then you asked about me. And any documentation. I don´t really mean to be rude, but what kind of documentation you want me to present. My passport, or other personal datas? Fell free to hit me in a private message and I am happy to serve you with personal information. But as long as we are not talking about a deal or anything, I just would not give you any documents about animals. In Germany posting stuff like Private messages (for example whatsapp messages, emails, letters,...) is not allowed, and I have to follow German laws. Because such communications are private and law fights for privacy. The same with any CITES documents showing other peoples personal datas. Those I cannot post here. But whoever writes me will get them.

Last but not least. On every post for animals you find my contact datas. Including cellphone number and homepage. In the impressum you find my adress and even my tax number. To be more open is hard to manage. And it would have been faster to find those information then to quote me here 2 times. It would be really simple to just contact me if you want more information. I have nothing to hide and I know this business long enought to know its though. But though does not include writing about someone or quoting someone without any reason. This is just not fair.

Wow patrick sterling. You are really butt hurt that you didn't get these. You are going to a lot of trouble to prove what? Nothing.

Your accusation of "He almost got me for $2,400" Is totally unfounded.

Not that It matters but I think your confusing two different shipments and ads. I'm getting more CB (Gonatodes daudini) in soon, so if this BOI continues, like I'm sure it will. You can investigate the pictures, dates etc.

Unfortunately, Thats how this BOI works. A person comes on with a dispute, right or wrong. Then a few of the regulars that like to agitate people come on. If you look at just a few of Chris's post you can see this is what he does. He has over 1,900 post with mostly one liners trying to get people riled up. He's a 51 year old man acting like he's 14 child that just discovered the internet. Just ignore him.

Then you get the few people that didn't like they way you responded, maybe you disagreed with them on Facebook etc. Nows their chance to say how they calmly corrected you on Facebook and you left them bad karma etc. How you didn't do this or that when you texted them etc.

You will also get the armchair attorneys and judges that have already decided your case. They know the laws in every state, the amount of fines etc. You can get a lot of great legal advise on this form.

The new one, that I haven't heard before was: "Tell his wife" This one had me chuckling. FYI My wife is fully aware of the arrangement that Mike and I have.

I will say the BOI has a few good regulars. They ask good questions and stay impartial.

Nice try at deflecting and redirecting the thread Garrett.. This thread is about you and your questionable business practices. I am glad to see all the proof you have posted in this thread so far. You know like a shipping ticket with a delivered date. Hopefully everyone waiting on animals get them and you chalk this up as a lesson learned.
 
I will post pictures of the animals when they arrive along with a FedEx tracking number shipped to Mikes house.

Without having knowledge about a situation you should feel ashame, posting such stupid things. Maybe you should check before you write. And now I am not going to waste my birthday with such an ignorant person. I offered to send all things anyone wants in a PM or email or whatsapp or whatever. I guess noone of you would do that.

And to Mr. 1900 posts: My very first post here was at 12:12 pm. If yu are so activ here, you should knoiw, that the time besides every post is your local time. If it says 6:12 pm at your computer, I can easily calculate we are 6 hours away. And your first post about me (and again you don´t know me, so leave me out of a topic, that I am not invoved in) was at 3 something my time. To summerize, you will find no word, that I wrote that is wrong. You made this time mistake and not me. (Writing this here at 8:39 am, guess what you´ll see at your place).

Happy Birthday Markus! For the record, YOU brought up the "time zone" twist, which I anticipated you would. It shows you first posted at 6:12 pm. Next post shows 4:27 am. I made no mistake. As far as leaving you out of this, you injected yourself into this thread just like everyone else. Nobody here forced you to respond. And yes, I have alot of posts here. What you and your pal forgot to mention is the time span. Look at my join date Columbo. I did not entertain your pm because I don't do that. If you have something say, say it here. So just out of curiosity, should I look for your response at around sixish pm, or four thirtyish am? My time of course. When you blow out those birthday candles, don't waste a good wish on me going away. Again, happy birthday.

I am posting to corroborate Alex's claim above. Garrett left inappropriate feedback in my BOI page that was very condescending and insulting after I merely gave him negative karma (not even a bad guy thread) after he was attempting to sell Borneo earless monitors. Since then, he has vindictively left repeated negative karma almost every time he has logged in, even on my classifieds ads. My connectivity is currently limited but I will be watching this thread when I can.

Vanessa, judging from the amount of green chicklets under your name, Garret has wasted his time and done nothing more than display his schoolyard bully tactics. Those who use the karma system as a weapon are weak and desparate.
 
Unless things have changed, only contributing members can leave negative karma.
Does not look like Garrett is a contributing member.
Without being a contributing member, Garrett is wasting his time in more ways than one.
 
Chris and Deb, yes you are both correct. Also, anyone with a negative status can leave negative karma but not affect your karma standing. I am not upset over spilt karma, only pointing out that Garrett resorts to childish, immature, and overly defensive tactics when anyone disagrees with him, regardless of the validity of those disagreements. It's an overt statement of character that is not publicly viewable, but relevant to anyone considering doing business with him.
