Then we have another problem.
If you did not give him the paperwork or contact. Then he is a customer. And he has asked for a refund.
It is a scam if you take a customers money, don't produce in a reasonable amount of time, and refuse to give a refund.
I get it, he is not a good person. But honestly, two wrongs don't make a right. You just admitted that he was not a partner in this deal, if he was, he would have everything you have. So you need to admit too the refund because he is a customer.
He and a lot of people have gotten carried away in this thread. Yourself included. I believe you are not a bad person, you just tired of getting kicked around when you don't have any options. I understand you don't have this money. I understand you don't have anything near that value.
Here is what I would do, if I was in your place.
I would say I was sorry for my behaviour. I would tell Mr. Rodriguez that he will get his money back as soon as you have. I would contact him directly, set up payment plans and if that does not work, keep the lines of commutations open. I would suck it up, do the right thing, even if it completely sucks for me.
I would completely stop taunting, attacking, and even communicating with everyone but Mr. Rodriguez. You can post what you want to do and how you think this can be resolved. But Mr. Kennard and the others are just kicking you when you are down. Stop being their punching bag. Stop.
You are in a bad spot. I get it. Now we have seen how bad this thread has gotten and exactly how deep the hole is, let us stop digging. Let us start making a plan that treats everyone fairly and fixes the problem.
Unfortunately, and painfully, you need to take that first step.
