Jay,
Thank you for the laughs. Your comments are the funniest ones posted on this BOI to date. In reality you are on of the most delusional, narcissistic people that I have came across. You contradict and lie/make stuff up in almost everyone of your post. See, you started posting on this site to do what you do every time you post. You turn everything in to "THE JAY SOMMERS SHOW" "I know more, Ive done more, Ive been doing this longer etc" and then say. QUOTE:"I like to keep a very low profile keep to myself."QUOTE No you don't you love to say ""I know more, I've done more, I've been doing this longer etc"
When in REALITY you can't truly know these answers without knowing what the other person has accomplished. You just assume.
You started posting on this one saying "Im getting ready to blow this one up" Like you were trying to pull a rope-a-dope one me. Thats laughable. I have seen your MANY fights with people on the internet. For someone that wants to lay low that shouldn't be your MO.
Your greatest accomplishment that you posted is "Jays version":
QUOTE:Here's a good example for you Garrett. Gonatodes daudeni. Are you aware that I am the person that was contacted by the discoverer of that species and the non profit he reached out to. To inquire about what species it was? That's right. Me. When the missionary found that gecko on union I was the first person contacted. I informed them it was an undescribed species. I know the two Scientist that went to union and subsequently formally described the species as G. Daudeni. Also I obtained living specimens shortly there after. So over ten years ago I started keeping daudeni ,a gecko you think you think is super ultra rare. The animals you work with and think are cutting edge I think are yesterday's leftovers. That's just one of sooo many. See I am busy working on my animals not self promoting.
When in reality:In May 2005, the Rev. Mark de Silva, an amateur naturalist on the island, contacted Henderson and Powell about this possible new species of spotted lizard. Viewing de Silva's photographs, the scientists knew immediately the lizard hadn't been previously identified. In certain parts of the world, this type of discovery is not uncommon.
"Descriptions of new species happen every year," Henderson said. "But it happens much less often on smaller islands of the Lesser Antilles."
Much of the behavior and many characteristics of the lizard remain unknown. Henderson and Powell will travel back to Union Island in June for further research. Accompanied by undergraduate students, they will search for females of the species. So far, only male lizards have been collected.
"It's about getting down on your hands and knees and getting dirty," Henderson said about searching for the quick little lizards. "You're digging through leaf litter and it's hard to get your hands on them. You need a little bit of luck."
While luck plays a factor in finding the lizards, taking care not to harm the lizards while searching is also important. Being so small and delicate, Powell said the lizards are easily injured. The tropical environment also presents other dangers for the scientists to keep in mind.
"Scorpions and centipedes that occur in the same habitats [as the lizards] could deliver unpleasant stings and bites, even if they're not life-threatening," Powell said.
While two of the specimens collected in May and June remain at the Milwaukee Public Museum, one is being temporarily studied at the University of Texas-Arlington. Tissues will be taken for DNA testing to verify the lizard's genus and trace its closest relatives.
See, in reality they called Henderson and Powell NOT Jay. The full article can be found :http://www.mpm.edu/research-collections/vertebrate-zoology/new-species-west-indies
This is just one of Jays delusional accomplishments. From your statement of knowing everything and doing things longer as you state. You must have some sort of psychic power. I find this amazing. Can we test this with a few questions? You must know the answers because you've stated that you keep more, done more and have been doing thing longer than I.
1. What animals do I currently have now?
2. What animals have a bred?
3. How long have I been keeping reptiles?
4. How many fingers am I holding up?
With your powers these 4 questions should be super easy. I eagerly await your answers.
For anyone that has seen Jays many battles they are all the same. In the end he usually ends up threading the person in physical violence.
The reasons that you have never heard of me Jay, are.
1. Unlike you, I TRULY say low key and actually enjoy my animals. For example, on 10/1/15 I hatched a very rare gecko. I can't find any info of anyone that has hatched this gecko in captivity. I MIGHT be the only one in the US to do this. I doubt it. Can you use your powers to look in everyones house, business etc to see it this is true? Anyway, the people that know about this are my wife and 3 kids. Thats the difference between you and I Jay. FACT!
2. I have never had interest in Axolotls or anything else that you've had
You state you came on here to straighten me out on time line and price.
Timeline: Yes, I misspoke on my time line. I said reptiles have not been exported out of Pakistan for 10 to 15 years. I was referring to the animals that we are talking about on this BOI S Hardwickii and thanks to Markus it looks like it was around 17.
Price: You came on here to flex your knowledge about price of an animal, from a country that you have never exported from. Stating that your guesstimate comes from price lists from other countries? LOL Thanks for your insight but your not even close.
If anyone wants to meet Jay in person he will be at reptile shows in the southern California area with an empty booth, a sign over his booth that says "I'M JAY SOMMERS, COME CHECK ME OUT" Signing autographs.
Ok Jay, Did you get the attention that your looking for? Is the Jay Sommers show over? Because I have a person that backed out of a deal that I'm trying to find some sort of resolution for that I can afford at this time.
Garrett
Howsabout answering the questions here? Too incriminating for ya'? This thread isn't anout Jay. You just said a whole lot of nothing. You're simple trying to distract from the bullets you're trying to dodge.
