    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I did stop by parrots of the world and was told they don't treat exotics and only offer advise. They gave me the name of a local vet that treats exotics and told me to try there. The owner/boss wasn't there so I didn't mention this thread to the employees.

This proves that Dr. Brunner's vet bill and death certificate were fake and written by himself.

So the doc did forge the vet documents! Wow! I wouldn't trust this guy for anything medical that's for damn sure. If he's going to lie and actually put the work in for this whole thing who know wtf else he does. Crooked AF

So, I just finished reading this whole thread, and all I can say is DRAAAAAAAMAAA!!! Nevertheless, I am compelled to put my professional two cents in here...
As a veterinary professional, I can tell you for a fact that an animal that is supposedly as sick as Dr. Brunner claimed this tortoise in question was, there would be a detailed medical record with an assessment of said pet and a plan for treatment, plus documentation relating to any labwork sent out, regardless of whether they write them or they are digital. So a written receipt without a supporting medical record proves nothing to anyone questioning the animals health... But that's already been proven since said receipt came from a business with no veterinary premise...
Now, aside from that, let's say for arguments sake, the tortoise in question was in fact gravely ill. Why would you take an exotic, endangered animal worth thousands of dollars anywhere but the best exotics specialist in your area??? Furthermore, if you're in the hobby/business of buying and selling high end exotic reptiles, why would you not already have a relationship with the best exotics specialist in your area? Just sayin...
Aside from all that, none of the individuals have shown much integrity throughout this thread, therefore, it's my opinion that doing any kind of business transaction with any of them would not likely be in anyone's best interest...

If I was Ici, I wouldn't reveal this info to a person who could've helped end the "is it alive" debate.
Also, why would he disclose the info to the Dr when he hadn't fully paid for the animal yet? Now that the animal is paid for, he would've disclosed it to his buyer, had the buyer not have already traded it & lied about its death. Ici has no motivation to disclose this information. That doesn't make him a scammer, just annoyed and maybe petty (although I don't think I would either).

The Dr is a scammer who forged documents and lied about the death of a tort.
 
I agree fully with you as regards to the Dr. As far as Ici ... I guess you are far more trusting then me .. I would never send any money let alone 5k for an animal I didn't have clear and concise proof was as represented .. in this case the claim that it came from a certain female. The alternative being ... once I have your 5k .. then I'll give you proof it is as I say ... not for me :) Show me the proof ... then we;ll do business!

I think ignoring you is a good way to deal with you, Brunner. On your previous thread you constantly threatened legal action, but as the story unfolded it seemed as if you were not an innocent party and your threats seemed only meant to try to hush others.
Here in this thread, it seems as if you are using the BOI to get money for you, but after your shenanigans in the previous thread that was linked earlier, it is difficult to believe anything you say.

I don't know what the story is on that poor lizard, I am sorry it is dead. I'm hoping someone can contact Giovanny, and that he will post here.
