    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I've never really paid much attention to it because he's healthy, but my gecko never seems to eat much. I've had him for the last 3 years or so, and when he was younger he'd eat a ton (9-12 mealworms a day). Now he eats maybe 3 mealworms every 3 - 4 days and most of the time I don't even keep his food bowl full because the mealworms just turn into pupae before he eats them. I just hand feed him mealworms now till he's had enough (and it seems 3 is the magic number). If I try feeding him consecutive days, he refuses to eat till the day after and then he might eat one. During the cooler months he eats even less, maybe gorges on 7-8 mealworms once a month. I'm trying to get him to eat supers, but he doesn't like the taste apparently. I got a couple little supers the size of large mealworms, and he'll lick them and turn up his nose. He likes wax worms, but I don't wanna feed him too many of those since he might get addicted.

So the question is, should I be worried and is it rare for a gecko to eat so little?

Try something new, give him 1 or 2 waxies every once in awhile, but dont give too many, theyre high in fat and geckos get addicted to them. If the animal in question is large enough you can always try silkworms, theyre healthy and alot of animals like them. Super worms, crickets, roaches etc can all be tried. Some animals get sick of eating the same thing over and over again, i hate having pizza everyday, and now i dont have an urge to eat it at all

some just are not big eaters. I have a few like that they could care less when I feed them others chow down as soon as the worms hit there dish. I do not use crickets myself but you could try that or roaches
