    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I'm straight up and down like 6:00. Now Kim likes to enjoy a female every now and then. Never alone,always with me. I guess you could say she is Bi Fun.

I just stumbled upon this thread. It would of been an awesome poll except that it is only seen by the members viewing this particular thread. On a broad scale it would be really neat to see how much of the reptile community ( a small community to begin with ) is gay/straight/bi/ or undefined as a whole. =) I've been chatting in reptile forums for around 10 years now and i've tried very hard never to mention anything about myself OTHER than the fact that I keep reptiles. It seems to be a good common ground for the forums, LOL. I know fellow reptile keepers of all genders/preferences/backgrounds, etc. but do not know any gay male reptile owners personally. Here in North FL in the bible belt, homosexuality is "tolerated" at best. Keeping SNAKES in this area would probably be considered an even bigger sin, LOL. I could not imagine what people would think of someone who's gay AND has reptiles for pets. It's very cool for everyone to have an open discussion about sexuality on this forum or any forum simply because for so many years it was taboo. I still get the "dude, ur gay?" every now and again, but for the most part i just stick to the reptiles and people have been relatively cool with it. Yes....I'm a man...I'm educated...I'm gay...and I keep snakes. First time ever I've said that, hahahaha. I guess i feel a little better.

I have a good handful of gay friends.. none of them like snakes.. *insert dirty joke here* So I guess you got something special going on :p

I am having a major issue with this douche thing. Douche is french for shower. What is wrong with that? Yes, I know it's used as slang, but it still doesn't make any sense at all. Some of the people I work with use it far too much and it's gotten boring.

Intolerant bigots are what I don't want here!!!!

Okay, though. Question here. Is sexuality static? Anyone here have one of those "when I was younger" or "before I settled down" things where their preference was such and now later in life the preference has changed?

When I was in my late teens/early twenties I was attracted to both sexes, but now I very rarely have any attraction to females in any way. Possibly due to most of the women in my family being totally off the wall...
 
I was a whore when I was younger. I'd take on anything that would fall on their back with their legs spread. :yesnod:

Now I'm probably too picky for my own good. Looking for that something special I guess. :shrug01:
 
I believe its like being born left handed...even if you (on occasion) use your right arm to throw a football...you still are what you are.

Regardless of what factors determine someones (emotional) sexuality, I don't think one has a choice in the matter. Whether it be genetic or conditioning...neither one is a choice.

I was raised very tomboyish.. *played football, did kickboxing, etc* So was called a lesbian often.. so was afraid of even LOOKING at girls..

Never thought twice about it..


But now that I am happily married, and comfortable being myself, I now know that I am very attracted to women.


And Nick.. I was born left handed.. but my father grew up with the idea that left handed people were gay..

Here comes the funny part. My father forced me to be right handed.. always moved the fork, spoon, pencil, whatever into my right hand.

Now I am ambidextrous.

my mom figured it out.. but my dad still doesn't know.. I cracked that joke once.. about how he made me left to right to both, and now I am bi.. he laughed.. but he thought it was a joke.. lol which made it funnier :p

My mom has always thought I was a lesbian. She is happy that I am with a man although she suspects (as always) that my best friend and I are secretly lovers. If we were, you would think that after 23 years we would admit it. We do have a stronger emotional tie to each other than to anyone else. My dad never asked, never cared. As long as I was happy so was he.

I'm ambidexterous. They insisted that I use my right hand in school when I was little. I write much better with the left, but am out of practice with it.
