In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Inquiry Genefreak339 / Michael Harshbarger

Actually based on the re-opened links Dennis provided, he listed this animal for sale on the 21st at 2:49pm, the same day he bought it.

Not to get into the whole flipping discussion. My feelings on it or somewhat different but he did put it up on 8/25

1 or 3 days not much of a difference either way.

I have no problem with those that flip, so long as the animal is cared for and not resold once acquired.

Way this seller works is all about $$$$ and how fast he can get it.

Same feelings here. If someone is flipping an animal, as long as it's cared for properly, healthy, was quarantined, and I know who the animals originally came from; no harm no foul.

I'm confused. Not at all trying to argue with you or start an argument, just trying to clarify because he's had SO many ads posted then deleted then re-opened by mods. The date and time on his original post were 8/21 at 2:49pm (the one I linked to), and all the following replies to that thread were also dated 8/21 at various times in the PM, and then also some from 8/22 when he bumped it saying he was bringing it back to the show on the 2nd day for anyone who wanted to see it. You said this may be your mistake, so did you mean this may have been an error with the time-stamp dates being changed when you re-opened it? How could that be if he was saying he was bringing it back to the show and the 2nd day of the show was indeed the 22nd?

You're very right, 1-3 doesn't make much difference, but flipping it the very SAME day it was purchased?

I thought it was BoaMaster?

Lynn works the BoaMaster tables at shows. That's BoaMaster's email.

This was the first post that was deleted and changed in that link. Same weight and same description so I'm going to assume it was the same snake. Earlier I thought I got my dates wrong because I thought this ad was dated before the Saturday show but it wasn't. Strike that please.

Anyway, notuiced what the parents are now.

Changes
- This male was from an Axanthic female to a male Lemon Blast het axanthic. The price is for an axanthic pinstripe so you might be getting an added extra for free. The pics dont do him justice! He is by far the lighest axanthic pin I have seen and does have a good bit of yellow blushing. He is around 300grams and will breed this upcoming season. Asking $5000 or best reasonable offer!

Can deliver to daytona show sunday Aug 22nd

Taking offers on the AMAZING ball python!!! This is one SMOKIN axanthic pin! Showed him to many reputable breeders in Daytona and many said he looks like an IMG (Increase Melanin Gene) Pinstripe, also compared him to an axanthic lemon blast hatchling and this guy was lighter than it!!!! This is by far the brighest axanthic I have EVER SEEN!!! Dont want to sell and wish I could see what great things this guy could make but times are tough. He is 342grams and pounding live rats. PM me with all offers.
-Michael

Thanks Dennis, I appreciate the reply. I was like, wait, what? LOL!

Soooooo let's see if I have this right:

  1. Michael bought the snake on August 21st, the first day of the Daytona show, then decided to flip it and sell it that very same day without any kind of quarantine. Then the next day, he brought it back to the Daytona show to show it off to anyone who might want to see/buy it. Then later, he decided to keep it.
  2. He first claimed the snake was an axanthic pinstripe possible axanthic lemon blast. Then he changed it to axanthic pinstripe. Then changed it again to IMG pinstripe. Then he said he never said it was any of those, and said it was sold to him as an axanthic pinstripe and he is not guaranteeing that it is any of the above, just stating what it was sold to him as.
  3. He first claimed the parents were female axanthic to male lemon blast het axanthic. Then he said the parents were female axanthic to "crazy unknown" pinstripe het axanthic. Then he said he had no idea what the parents were and said he did not ask the seller when he bought it, and if he did that would be the first thing he'd put in his ad.
  4. He has created, edited, and deleted about 8-10 different ads for this snake, with the details changing every single time. When moderators re-opened his ads to provide proof of things said/written, he re-deleted them.
  5. The price has changed from $5,000 to $3,000 to $2,500 to "taking offers".

Did I miss anything? Michael claims he has not hid anything from anyone, and has not lied or left out any details. All of the above suggests far differently. Considering the above, as well as the past info in this thread of him selling deformed animals without disclosing the deformities beforehand, stealing pictures from other breeders to advertise animals for sale, flipping animals without any kind of quarantine, and offering animals for sale that he doesn't even have in his possession yet...I HIGHLY suggest anyone to think twice before buying anything from this guy, and stay far away.

And Michael just PM'd me and called me...well, the not-permitted term for a female dog. That's a sign of a really mature, experienced, trustworthy businessperson. :ack2:

Thats cause he was caught red handed again. Thinking the heat was off and people would forget what he did. Just doesnt work that way in this world.

And he will avoid this thread like the plague now since the info is here of him trying to rip someone off.

Not sure if this was already brought up, but Michael is still advertising this snake as an axanthic pinstripe on kingsnake.com. I'm not sure what Faunaclassified's policies are about posting ads on other sites, but I felt it was appropriate to bring up for this discussion.

The ad was posted yesterday afternoon at around 6:00PM EST. I also took a screenshot to post just in case this ad gets taken down once I post the link.

Despite the caveats he included in his Fauna ads after being questioned, apparently he sees no compulsion to do so on other sites when he's not challenged. This sort of unethical behavior is not winning you any favors, Michael.

Has anyone contacted boamaster to find out what the snake actually is since that is who supposedly sold it? If boamaster says that Michael is lying in the ads then perhaps KS will pull the ad for fraud?
