    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

To clarify on that, never did I intentionally leave those things out of the thread. I understand how it looks but I marked them sold after dave told me to hold them. Then after finding the kink and letting dave know I left the add as sold so nobody else would ask about them. I hope all works itself out as I am not trying to get over on anyone. I personally know that reputation in this business is KEY and I will try my best to make everyone happy!

For clarity, I'm talking about your pictures in that ad. There's not a kink in sight. I love how you keep twisting things, when you know darn well what I meant. Another thing I meant is when I told you I have no wish to continue communication with you and I don't appreciate the harrassment. /PMtrash

And for the record, I'm not upset. Not at all. Just trying to warn the folks around here, that I consider my extended family, to be wary after I had an experience with you that was questionable.

Anyways what I was trying to say is why would I take up close pics of the tail if I was trying to hide it from people. And about the pm's you said you dont want to hear from me I said "thank you for your time." Sorry if I am getting to you but I am just trying to explain myself.

For anyone who wishes to look, this is the ad. I don't see any mention of kinks or stubs, do you? :shrug01: Just two nice little market rate pastels. Of course, now that I'm looking for kinks because I know they're there I can see them in one of the pictures, but before I thought nothing of it because camera angles and less than cooperative animals can make getting great shots tough.
 
Once again I must elaborate. If you read in earlier post you would have seen me say this. I did not notice the kinks until after I marked them sold for david. After I noticed them I told him about them and sent over pics... I then left sold on the add so nobody else would pm me about them. Would you like me to go to the add that has been marked sold and change it?????

I can see how the confusion is really setting people off but I really don't see a huge deal about the kinked and stub males. He stated to the people that were truly interested and ready to purchase that they had a kink and a stub...some person bought them anyway and that was his choice. Why dwell on a couple animals that someone truly liked and purchased in the end? Is this really worth arguing over? Especially seeming as he has came here and apologized and tried to explain himself?

He didn't scam anyone out of their money and he didn't send off an animal only to have a dissatisfied customer with a kinked up snake. He was truthful to the person about the snakes because he himself had just noticed the kink and stub on the snakes. If I were the person interested I would be thanking him for being honest and not shipping me snakes only to turn around and have to ship them back because they were not up to par.

Take this post any way you like. This is my honest opinion and I don't believe that Michael's reputation should be spoiled for such a small problem.
 
We were 5 minutes from sending the money for those animals and were never once warned about and deformities, kinks, stubs, etc. We even spoke to him on the phone.

I'm kind of glad we had an iffy feeling (on their color and possibilities of them browning out), and made a last minute decision to buy a Lesser poss. het. Caramel instead.
 
I'm not saying it should be spoiled, and I don't think anyone else has, either. This is an info thread, and I posted my info.

Yet at the same time, they're related. They're clutch mates right? We won't buy anything that hatched out of a cluch with any types of kinks or genetic defaults. It's just too risky. I think individuals should be informed, if the animals they're interested in had siblings that hatched with genetic problems. It gives you a better picture of the possible blood you are buying for your colony... and it's honest.

How can those obvious deformities not be noticed if you're taking even the most basic care of your stock?

I'm sorry, but I don't believe the "didn't know" thing for a second. I had a couple pastels hatch out last year with little kinks like that and I noticed it right out of the egg.
 
That is your own opinion and I respect what you have to say, but question for you... If I KNEW about the kinks and then posted the adds why would I go back and tell the potential buyer that there are kinks and send them pics to make sure they know what they are buying???? It just seems I cant please you, and also for someone who "wants nothing to do with the likes of me" you sure are posting alot on this thread still.... As you said this is an "info" thread! Why do you feel the need to post an opinion stating that you dont believe me when I say I didnt see the kink until later? You have told us your situation and that should be that.

It does seem odd to me, as a breeder, that with feeding, cleaning, etc that the kink is not noticed till (how many grams were they when they were sold?)...but what the hey:shrug01:

For future: Everything must be revealed in the AD. Check the animals carefully, be aware of what you are selling since your name stands behind it. :)
 
So he's new to the hobby...and made some mistakes...and now, even though he's being honest, he is pretty much being called a liar. I'm kind of sad that the online community that I have come to love jumps to him being a fishy person instead of offering their advice and guidance to do better...
 
Is she still being shipped out on Mon. for Tue. morning? Please send me some fresh pics of the tail & overall with the date on a paper (either news or written). You have my email addy. This really has me concerned about our transaction...
