    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Here's an easy one.

What is the origin of the exotic patterns and colors in leopard geckos? I am referring to the orange colors, striping vs. spotting of "wild" type, leucisism, and etc. Were the first ones naturally occuring mutations/variations or have breeders been inducing mutations? What methods/chemistry is used?

Some mutations are recessive (Albino/Patternless/Blizzard/ETC), others are line bred (Tangerine/Carrottail/Jungle/ETC).

Line bred take generations about generations to create a particular color or pattern morph.
