In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Georgia Dragons Be wary of them They are trying to get money they ar enot entitled to

JOKERS

Rob,

These ignorant people don't have a leg to stand on.

I for one will NOT... EVER, EVER buy from people with the attitude they have shown.

I think I want to be a company

I have to be able to do it well...........I can read.

BTW~ Those two e-mails you referance ARE in the e-mails he posted, AND before you say it....no, he did NOT edit his post......you can't edit things once you post them on the BOI. He can't remove it either........once it's there, thats it.....kind of like kool-aid in the carpet........now ya gotta live with it.

Maybe I'm just in crabby mood (Okay, no maybe about it) but are you kidding!?! I've read his terms lots of times, I've never purchased from him, but I've read his adds.....and his terms are right on the bottom of his adds. READ I have family in Georgia, I know they teach all three R's.....reading, riting, and rithmatic......so READ the terms. Yes, you agreed to them when you made the purchase from the add they were on (Paralegal?)

Now, just stop making yourself look like a monster jerk (no, jerk is NOT the word I wanted to type)........Apoligize, admit your were mistaken and lets move on.

oh, and Have a nice day :D (See? A smiley, I AM being nice........for me)

Oh where to begin.....

Other breeders usually stand behind their animals and warranty them for 30 days.

We have a seven day health guarentee on our animals. The reason it is 7 days is because after that they have been exposed to another environment and who knows what esle, not counting husbandry issues. I only know one breeder that has a 30 day guarentee and it is UNUSUAL.

We stand behind our dragons and the fact is these are still in my possession because they will not grow to the size I find ETHICAL to sell them at six inches or 6 weeks of age for the public to purchase.

So does this mean if I buy a dragon from Georgia Dragons and it dies a year down the road that they will refund my money? No contact? necropsy? body?
As far as ETHICS go, Georgia dragons needs to get off the high horse because THEY BOUGHT THEM THAT WAY.

I don''t think it is to much to ask for you to stand behind what you are selling. If you will not issue a credit for the deceased non-viable dragons I will be forced to contest the charge to my credit card for the entire purchase.

Without a necropsy showing that Rob directly caused their demise, Georgia Dragons has nothing to stand on.

Age at time of shipping does have a lot to do with it. STRESS STRESS on the animals. If they are not healthy when shipped the stress will bring the problems to the surface.

Again, Georgia Dragons knew how old they were when they were shipped. Why did they purchase them so young?
30 days after they have shipped is a little late to complain about it either way.

When I emailed you that they had arrived and were beginning to eat and drink I did not sit down and watch to see if every single dragon was partaking, only that in general and as an overall observation they appeared to be settling in.

Then this would be a fault on Georgia Dragons Part and not one that Rob would have to pay for.

Should have known. Know your type well. Ex- law enforcement officer, "went to school" to be an attorney. Just couldn't cut it?

Wow, I think this one speaks for itself....

First of all I am not trying to "Pull" anything. I am just trying to resolve a problem relating to a purchase. No action has been taken concerning anything that has been discussed merely just an attempt to resolve an issue. Any written statements or opinions from you are merely conjecture at this point relating to an attempt to resolve a dispute. At this point all I have done is request a credit for four deceased dragons and taken a load of insults from you. As far as your previous careers you were the one who volunteered your information.

The way I see it is that Georgia Bearded Dragons is trying to bully/threaten someone into giving them a refund that is not due them. Rob has a very specific guarentee/warrenty and Georgia Dragons fell way outside of that. There is nothing to resolve because there is no claim.
It sounds to me like Georgia Dragons has a parasite/protazoan infestation which is highly contagious. Not given proper treatment, the dragons will most likely die. Seems to me that if they truly bred the animals they claim and sell as their own lines, they would know this. Has Georgia Dragons even taken any of them to the vet? Or are they just going to let the rest slowly die?

And as my Husband stated earlier, we most certainly will never be doing business with Georgia Bearded Dragons.

I am curious about something...

In one of the e-mails, GA Bearded Dragons mentions that the babies they got from Rob were not growing properly and didn't seem fit for resale. Perhaps I understood it wrong, but...

If I were to go to GA Bearded Dragons' website or their table at a show, am I ACUTALLY getting dragons from all of the fascinating morphs listed(GA Peach, GA Summer, etc.), or am I in actuality getting dragons from someone else's bloodlines that they are claiming are from their "high-end" morphs?

Let me know if I am misunderstanding something here. Also, assuming they are hobbyist/breeders who sometimes sell their offspring, a purchase of a 20 lot of dragons seems like alot to raise up for potential breeding stock. To ME at least, that is something a retailer of dragons would do, and I would at least hope that if that is the case(nothing wrong with it), that they are honest in their representation of said dragons as NOT being produced by them or from their bloodlines. However, if GA Bearded Dragons is buying up babies from other breeders and selling them as babies from their own stock, that is not ethical.

Rob, I think you've really got nothing to worry about. The funny thing is, not only did they elapse your guarantee period, but they elapsed the 30 day period they claim other breeders will offer(I also only know ONE person with a long-term guarantee like that, and that is a RARITY in this business, no matter what species you work with). So, even if they thought imposing a 30 day guarantee on Rob would work, it was stupid because they were 2 days PAST that, too. I think this is just a case of you getting stuck with another lemon of a customer. Best of luck.

Let the Sellers beware

I sold a Jacksons Chameleon 7 MONTHS ago at a local reptile swap to a customer. He was in wonderful condition and I too offer a 7 day health and death guarantee on all the animals I sell at these local swaps (most vendors there DO NOT give any guarantees) 2 weeks ago the gentleman that bought this chameleon came back to my table with a poor chameleon that not only had the worst eye infection I ever saw, but was skinny and dehydrated. He wanted his money back after 6 month and 2 weeks telling ME that the animal has been sick since I sold him. I asked him why he didn't call me or email me right away and he told me, he didn't have time. (ALMOST 7 months of "no time".
He threatened me that he was going to sue me and through some pretty harsh words, he was asked to leave the swap by the owner and some fellow vendors.
SOME people think you, as the seller, should be responsible for things THEY obviously do wrong or didn't get fixed when they could have. It is unfortunate and sad, but truthfully, this ONE person could truly ruin my breeding reputation if he started telling everyone that this was the animal I sold him and they didn't know it was sold to him 7 months ago!!!!!
Its very hard to keep a good reputation when you have people in this world that think the way this gentleman does :{ Keep your heads up and hope that most are not like this person!
The other sad thing is I know this guy isn't going to bring that poor chameleon to a vet and the poor little guy is just going to die :{ But how responsible should be have to be as breeders to help these animals and how long should we have to guarantee!

Georgia Dragons.....

Rob,

Have they provided any proof whatsoever that these
animals are in fact actually dead? Photos? Necropsy?
For some reason, I am certain that they haven't yet,
nor will ever.

On the BOI this scam seems to pop up from time. It
is funny, as it tends to be cyclical (like the fake het
scam). In that, I mean, no one will run it for a few
months, then suddenly, there will be a flurry of
them.

These fools are just looking to rip you off. I bet
these animals are just fine. And being the huge
animal lover that I am, I really hope that they are.
I just wish they had more honest owners.

Now I know to steer clear of these buffoons.

Thanks

Rob Lizards are the best

had A similar experience. I assume that the didn't pay the full retail price($50-$75) and all the sudden four of the dragon were dead. I say "to bad so sad". I don't offer extended guarantees when I lot out animals I don't think anyone does. I have noticed a trend of complaining about animal a month after the were purchased has become common practice. Rob there are enough of us the KNOW you sell quality animals. MY ANSWER ALWAYS IS SEND ALL THE ANIMALS BACK AND I'LL REFUND THE PURCHASE PRICE MINUS SHIPPING charges.

ROB SELLS THE BEST ANIMALS PERIOD!

WOW!

Dear Chevrolet,
1905z Jan 2000: - I just wanted you to know that I recently purchased a new vehicle and I'm very happy with it's performance. The motor works great and doesn't even use that much fuel! I'm very happy, once again, Thanks.
Paul B.

THREE YEARS LATER........

Dear Chevrolet,
1720z Feb 2003:- I have a Chevy S-10, 2000 model. My truck has 75,045 miles on it. Today my motor blew up! I understand that your warranty only covers my vehicle for 36,000 or three years but I saw a commercial from KIA and they guarantee their vehicles for 10 years or 100,000 miles. I think you owe me a new truck! The one you sent me was not a good vehicle. Please replace it or I will seek legal actions against you!
thanks,
Paul B

I know this sounds absurd, the main reason is, IT IS ABSURD!

Rob, you are in the absolute right! I feel that you have gone over and above the call of duty. Unfortunately these two will probably reproduce if they haven't already.

As far as Michael & Wendy Eves, all I've got to say is, SAD, VERY SAD. Leave this guy alone! It's obvious that you are in the wrong.

Next time, report any sub-standard animals to the dealer within the guarantee specifications. It's also very obvious that the reason that you didn't complain upon receiving your reptiles is the fact that they were all healthy, beautiful little babies that you were more than willing to paste your name on (literally).

My $.02,
