• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

  • IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ!! About the Google Adsense ads being displayed

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

on Feb 7 at 3:18pm I contacted Gerri about an ad she had placed for 1000grams of mixed dubia roaches for $100
we worked out a deal for 11000 grams for $800 and $50 shipping I sent the $850 on Feb 10th she shipped on the 13th .
on Feb 15th i got both boxes but the total weight between both boxes was only 5700 grams 5300 grams short of what I paid for we tried to figure out what the problem was both of our scales seemed to be spot on
she agrees to send out more roaches.
almost 3 weeks later the day shes finally going to ship them out she messages me accusing me of dumping roaches and we start arguing (its all in the messages)
so finally I tell her ship the roaches out monday the 11th or im going to dispute paypal for the difference
today 3/14 i get the package total weight was about 3600 grams still very short but honestly at that point I would of been fine just to have this ordeal over with
the problem was 50% or more were DOA
I asked her to only refund me $200 thought this was fair considering 3500 grams would be closer to $300
she refused told me she wont guarantee live arrival and coming up with tons of reason why not too refund me
sooo here we are
its alot of info in text messages, pictures, and videos please stay with me lol
(things I would like to note:the small plastic containers weight 108 grams each, she changed her ad a few times after we spoke)

Rob asked me to bring up the deleted ad; but since it was edited prior to deletion, I'm going to post screenshots instead.

The first image is the edit history of the ad.
The second image is the original & the first edit.
The third image is the first edit, and the second (final) edit.
The date and time of all versions is shown in the first image...(before anybody asks, I don't have any way of showing when the ad was deleted)

For comparison, two previous ads by this seller - also showing the original numbers of 1000g (approx 1000 roaches)

Paypal has not ruled in my favor. I will be calling them shortly to find out all the details and now will move on to the next step in contacting my bank.
I dont think ill ever even try to dispute anything via paypal anymore just right to the bank they dont seem to want to take the time to really investigate the problem.from the looks of it they saw live product and dont want any part of it atleast thats what I got out of the email they just sent.
also on the fact that they wouldnt give me the chance to show them all the proof of transaction.

well I was correct they wont cover the live insects.I opened a dispute with my bank and they are going to dispute it with paypal.

here is the paypal policy
I made the restricted bold and underlined because in some cases they will cover them (if im reading it correctly)

Dear Mike Panzarella,

Below you will see section 13.3 of our user agreement that outlines all
ineligible items along with an insert from eBay's Prohibited or Restricted
Items Policy that may be applicable in this scenario.

13.3 Ineligible Items. PayPal Purchase Protection only applies to PayPal
payments for certain tangible, physical goods. Payments for the following
are not eligible for reimbursement under PayPal Purchase Protection:

•Intangible items, including Digital Goods
•Services
•Real estate, including residential property
•Businesses
•Vehicles, including motor vehicles, motorcycles, caravans, aircraft and
boats
•Custom-made items
•Travel tickets, including airline flight tickets
•Items prohibited by the PayPal Acceptable Use Policy
•Items which you collect in person or arrange to be collected on your
behalf, including items bought through In-Store Checkout at the retail
point of sale (unless bought using PayPal Grace Period, see Eligibility
Requirements above)
•Items that violate eBay’s Prohibited or Restricted Items Policy:
What are the guidelines?

Animals:
Though pets and most other live animals can't be listed, there are few
types that you can sell. But before listing these items on eBay, sellers
need to:
Get the necessary federal and state permits.

Guarantee that the animals will be shipped safely and sent by overnight
shipping.

Restricted
Crickets, worms, or other herbivorous insects as long as they're intended
to be used for bait or food for pets

Hatching eggs from some animals—for example, chicken eggs—as long as
they're shipped only within the US. However, hatching eggs from endangered
species, migratory birds, snakes, or turtles aren't allowed.
Shellfish, such as crabs and lobsters, to be used as food
Snails or slugs, but only those that are known as domestic aquatic snails
and the following 5 types that you can eat (usually called escargot):
Helix aperta or Cantareus apertus (usually called burrowing snails)

Helix aspersa or Cryptomphalus aspersus (usually called small grey snails)

Helix pomatia (usually called apple snails, Burgundy snails, lunar snails,
or Roman snails)

Otala lactea or Helix lactea (usually called milk snails, Spanish snails,
or vineyard snails)

Otala vermiculata or Eobania vermiculata (usually called vinyala, mongeta,
or xona)

Before listing escargot, be sure to get the proper permits for selling and
shipping snails. If you're importing food products into the U.S., they have
to go through inspection at JFK airport in New York.

Tropical fish. Be sure to check if permits are required.

•Industrial machinery used in manufacturing
•Items equivalent to cash, including prepaid or gift cards
•PayPal Direct Payments
•Virtual Terminal Payments
•Personal Payments

Thank you,

Kristina
PayPal

I see a seller at fault here... Did you email the seller this thread so they can come tell us why their mistake is costing you money? That is a whole lot of pita for nothing then to get accused of stealing?!?!

You know what totally slipped my mind that of arguing with her and all the stuff with PayPal then making sure I posted everything she wasnt notified of this thread
Did tell her I would be starting one just never that I actually followed up with it

Just sent her a text letting her know
Don't think she cares as she said she was done selling anyway
Hope she does come and tell her side

I'd love to hear Gerri's response the video says it all. Tons of DOA. Having personally dealt with Mike numerous times I know he's a stand up guy. Hope it gets resolved for you.
