I got the book in the mail,lol Im a newbee putting my Cage and lighting together , my question is the formula for lighting .. should I be running the basking light all day ? the uvlight , ? should I use a night time coloring light? , looking in petstore these things could be confusing

Howdy,

Basically, you want to run the UVB and the basking light 10-12 hours a day. If you can get creative with your timers, turn-off the basking lamp about 15-30 minutes before the UVB lamp and that will give your critter a trigger to get ready for bedtime.
