    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I just got my baby beardie on 09/02/10. The first day i had him he ran around and ate his crickets like he should. The past 3 days i havent been able to give him any crickets. When i put the crickets in he wont come out and eat them. Hell wait till he is alone to eat them. He has been eating his veggies however. Also, i havent seen him bask to much because when i come in the room he still hides. Is this still stress from being seperated from his mate and placed into a new atmosphere? and how long will this last if it is in fact stress? And is not eating as much as i or he would like a problem?

relocation stress can last as long as a month during which time the appetite can be sporadic at best. The basking issue could be easily fixed by doing what i told you in the other thread. just remove the hide cause its a bad idea for a new join hatchling to have a hide it keeps them from basking because all they want to do is hide.

I have to agree with Brian, the hide is just promoting anti-social behavior and could be seriously detrimental to you dragon. They don't bask or eat properly and you are not able to keep an eye on your little friend. Do him and yourself a favor and ditch the hide until he is settled in and thriving.
