    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Getting back into reptiles.

It's been about four years since I've had anything. The last snakes I had, were Coastal Carpets and a White Phase Albino Retic. I'm finally going to be getting back into snakes after all this team and I'm overwhelmed with the feelings that I had when I was a kid. I'm going to Tinley in March and I'll be buying a Jungle Carpet, (that's the plan anyways). Who knows what I'll get once I get there and start looking around. Snakes have always been my passion and I'm glad that the flame didn't die after not keeping them for all these years.

I can appreciate the excitement you are feeling. I got out of boas in 2010 and everything else shortly after, was burnt out and just didn't feel the enjoyment anymore. In 2014 I started keeping again and was giddy about it.

It's a great feeling. I'm just looking forward to setting up the enclosure and watching my snake grow. I want to be breeding high quality Jungles one day. I'm just ready for Tinley and the trip out there, see what everyone has. At this point, I'm either getting a pure Albino Darwin, a Zebra Jungle or just a Jungle.

I'm glad you got back into things and kept the passion alive.
