• In case most of you have not noticed, I made changes to the donation amounts as well as the durations for all of the paid membership levels. Things are winding down here, and this seems to be the most prudent way to deal with the "end of life" period of this site.

    Contributor level members - $10 per 30 days
    Sponsors - Eliminated
    Benefactor level members - $25 per 30 days
    Endowment level members - $50 per 30 days

    On July 1, 2027, all paid memberships will be closed.

    On August 1, 2027, FaunaClassifieds will be terminated.

    Only change I expect that might take place is when I can get around to figuring out when the amount of money I would have to refund for the yearly paid memberships becomes less than the monthly expense of leasing my server, THAT date might be the termination date for the site.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Getting my first Hognose

Hello,
I'm receiving my first western hognose shortly. I'm VERY new to this form concept as well, just looking for advice and tips for caring for my new baby. He will be in a small tub with shredded paper towels till he gets bigger with a hide, water, and a heating pad. I know I have to wait to put him in something bigger till hes at least a foot, but I'm not sure what habitat would work best. I was looking at the Exo-terra short habitats. I just don't know if I should go with the 18"x18"x12" or the 24"x18"x12. What do you guys think? and again I'm new to hognoses and forms.
