Sub Adult P. asio! We only have three Sub Adults available. This is the largest species of horned lizard in the world with adults topping 8 inches in total length. The greatest thing about this particular species is that although they will eat ants, ants DO NOT constitute the majority of their diet. EVERY SINGLE ONE of our Asio are eating Crickets, Meal worms, and wax worms. We dust these insects in Repashy Formic-Cal Plus Ant Eater Supplement, which has been working very well. We have not fed any ants to our lizards yet. In the wild ants make up only about 20-30% of an Asio's diet, most likely because this species comes from a more tropical region than most horned lizards. We have found our P. Asios enjoy daily misting and will drink from the side of their cage.
