So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Gilbert is a very interesting person. He has been caught in too many lies. I and many others felt that you were just another one. Please feel free too partake in this whole thread. I recommend a bowl of pop corn and a pot of coffee.

I wish you all the luck in the world in selling your animals but you might want to get a different middle man as Mr. Thompson's rep. has been destroyed.

If you have a genuine love for this hobby I'm sure you understand why we try to flush out the weasels. (I mean no disrespect to weasels)

I still have a few questions but I'm sure they will be answered here in the near.

I have never cheated anyone out of anything. I have always given a customer more than they bought. This is it as far as taking this slanderish abuse from you two and a few others, anymore. You say he should be lucky the deal went good and the animals alright. Well BOYS you are about to have to put your money where your mouth is. I never taken advantage of anyone so you WILL have to prove it now!! Another thing posting an unlisted home number on here, for the whole world to see. A home phone line with which I have since been getting hang ups and nasty talk to me and my wife. This has gone to far! The reality of what you have done will set in once the summons has arrived.
Goahead everyone say it. I am wrong and this and that. Well no I am not and these insinuations are not true. Now the home harrassment thanks to Paul! I am glady going to get off my pocket book to take care of this. Then if I am allowed too. Post it ALL on here.

I'm not concerned with your threats and I really hope that you follow through with a legal resolution. Remember there are many people that have been threatened by you. Plenty of calls and e-mails. I'm sure that your character will leak through once again.

My intention was not to get people to harass you. You supplied your phone # in an e-mail and I posted our correspondence. If you don't want people to have your # then don't give it out! Pretty simple.

Either way I'll be waiting on your" summons" Please try to get the hearing scheduled around the new moon of May, I'll make a herping trip out of it!

Paul, Trey is actually a real person. I have spoke with him many times and we were going to do some deals but I sold out on my side first. If anyone has seen a pic of Gilbert, maybe you could compare to some of Treys pics.

Trey if anyone needs a pic post one of them off the group. Since I know there are plenty. Maybe someone will post a pic of Gilbert and then they can compare.

Yes you have dip [bleep], myself and about 20 others out of sales and money for the time you tied us up. Remeber"Im a DEA agent and got called out on an undercover sting" That drug our deal out for so long. Yes by doing that you cheated me out of sales and money. Time invested with you, more feed for the animals, lost sales etc etc. Also theres like what? 20 other you did that with so IMO you cheated a bunch of people. Gilbert....I have not "BAD MOUTHED" you to anyone....I certainly do not feel that is necessary. I have never seen so many negative posts concerning one individual--all relating to you. The deal you speak of was initially for a number of snakes which I held back for YOU. After I did this, posted on Kingsnake.com that they were sold--guess what happened....you changed your mind --after you called and were going to wire the funds to my bank account. You then asked for the information so that this would transpire. Guess what, no wire, no call,no nothing. Then, you call, apologize and you want the EDB's. I received your check --I have no idea whether or not it was sufficient w/your account...I sent it back the same day it was received....I simply advised you w/the returned check that I wished NOT to do business w/you. Recently, you E-mailed me wishing to have future dealings. After reviewing this and other compliants concerning you, I sincerely think that there is going to be a very limited number of individuals who will want to deal with you....it all revolves around a couple of words which to most of us has great meaning----HONESTY and TRUST.... There must be a planet...

Where honesty, timeliness, customer service, etc, are alien concepts. Some people from that planet must have crash landed here in the United States, and gone on to try to deal in reptiles. Upstate, Gilbert, etc. They don't GET IT that honesty is the ONLY policy. They don't UNDERSTAND that their actions are BAD. They just keep telling people how great they are and shrugging aside the evidence, AS IF the evidence points to a triviality... like "so what my toenails are blue, that has nothing to do with our transaction".

The only GOOD thing Gilbert and Upstate have done is post here just enough to show me that if I ever act like they do, I have to get out of this hobby ASAP. Because I"ve lost my humanity, my understanding of english, and all of my customers!

Thank goodness for negative examples. I suggest we don't try to point out to Gilbert the error of his ways. he's INCAPABLE of understanding what those errors are! We can tell him till our fingers bleed (from typing) that he's BAD and, like upstate, he'll NEVER get it.

gilbert, now that I have seen your picture, many things have become much more understandable.

I would be willing to bet that you have been a "big boy", boy being the key word here since you don't act much like what I think of as a man, for most of your life. My guess is you were the bully of the grade school and most likely picked on the nerds through whatever additional schooling you got after that. What brains couldn't do for you, and from your constant contradictions and outright lies it appears to be not much, your brawn probably did. LOL.

I've worked with and around kids for a lot of the last 20+ years and yours is a fairly common circumstance. Most kids grow out of it and realize that getting what you want by blustering and huffing and puffing and threatening to hurt or, I would not be surprised to hear of it actually occurring, causing actual physical damage to someone who either outsmarted you, did you graduate high school or take the GED, or just didn't give you your way.

Your picture was sort of blurry but was that BULLY I saw tatooed on your forehead?

The problem with being a professional bully, even so big a one as you, is that eventually you can't bluster enough or well enough that anyone cares any more. And then there's the thing that some of us, even if you have 80 to 100 lbs on us, as you seem to on me, just don't care about how big you are or what you say. We know what a blustering blowhard you are and just DON'T care.

Blow away, literally and figuratively, for all you're worth. Send me the summons. I'm going to have to start a list of all the blowhards I've heard that from and have YET to have even one come through. I believe that Grumpy, I mean Earl(couldn't resist Earl, hope you understand), makes the GRAND TOTAL now 20 people that have come forward here to tell of your poor business ethics. That is quite a few people to not like you well enough to come here and say so. It's all the fingers on both hands and all the toes on both feet if you need a comparison you can comprehend easily.

You keep saying you're done, you're going away, you don't care what anyone says here anyway and yet, here you are, still huffing and puffing just like a great big steam engine. I have counted at least 11 TIMES you've said you won't be back. Will there ever be a time that you say something that will be true? If there is can I request that it be the 12th time you promise to go away and not come back?

Find god again, or buddah, or whatever floats your boat, go back on your meds, something to level you out, get your stuff together and then come back when you can tell the truth and not pull one blowhard stunt after another. It wouldn't be easy but if you could stop being such a jerk you may just find some welcome here, not much to start as you are not now a very pleasant person, but given time and honesty and a true turn around, you could. If you care, as you certainly seem to by your continued presence here.

I dont know anything about the other party you mentioned, but I agree 100% about Gilbert. Hell never understand no matter how many people explain it to him. The only postive thing out of this is we now have an offical poster boy for "dont be like me, im a clueless idiot chocking on my own foot(gasp gasp)" Hes probally swallowed that thing all the way down to his knee.

Before my comment about Gilberts weight(if that is him in the pic) gets twisted out of control. I have nothing against anyone who is overweight. I take people for who they are. I just simply believe, military(they do have standards but), police, law enforcement whatever in that kind of front lines work should maintain some kind of strict physical standards. 1. they are supposed to be professionals that represent the elite. 2. They have to be in some kind of shape to chase down the bad guys. Im not exactly a fast runner but I dont know of anyone as overweight as Gilbert(person in the photo???) that could catch me. With that in mind the person is serving no perpose on the street. Behind the scenes desk job, tech work, whatever cool, but regular street cop, dea or front lines kind of job, where ya have to be able to chase people arrest them etc, no I think there should be strict standards. When you cant run fast enough to catch them what are you really doing besides collecting a salary? If ya cant catch the bad guys because of your weight your not protecting no one. Thats just my opinion so anyone please take it for what it is and nothing more.

John, thanks for finding his ad and posting it. I felt a lil' bad that people were calling and harrasing his family. Once again that was not my intention but if He already posted his unposted number to a public forum then I wash my hands of this situation.

Also I challenge Trey to present the references that he claims to have. There was a situation last night that makes me think that "TREY" is really just Gilbert. If anyone knows Shawn, I'd urge him to drop us a quick line to verify that he has spoken to trey. Too many similarities.

Even if the IP's don't match up, I find it strange that someone who has been selling reptiles for a long time has no friends that have come here to vouched for him, an act that we've seen in this forum time and time again.

As I stated on the BOI, I'm sorry that You've been dragged into this. My intention was not to hurt anyone. Gilbert is a person that has cost many people time and money due to his dishonest behavior. We knew that it stunk of Gilbert and sure enough I recieved a response from him. I really hope that you sell your animals. I'm sure that you've had people jerk you around, rip you off, and genuinely dishonest stuff. I think it is our duty to police ourselfs. If not, who can you trust. Once again I'm sorry. I meant you no harm to you in my post.
