    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I am interested in purchasing a Dumeril's Boa from Glade Herp Farms. They were recommended to me as a breeder by a friend who purchased a healthy Dumeril's from them with no problems. However, I did some research on them here and am finding very conflicted opinions. I really do not want to buy a mite infested or unhealthy animal, or get ripped off $95. I have made contact with them and requested pictures, not as proof, just for my own personal interest because I want to see what I'm buying! :) I am not in any way trying to start a flame fest, and I hope that this post does not come off with a negative connotation. I am just trying to find the best Dumeril's breeder, as I have had trouble finding them.

My best advice is read the threads here about them, then make a decision.

Personally, I would keep looking for a dumeril's else where & if it came to it, spend a little more on one.

I have read through the threads and am just left with very mixed feelings about it.

From what I can tell, they seem fair-good as sellers, poor as buyers, and poor with customer service.

Unfortunately I am yet to find any other Dumeril's hatchlings for sale. :(

I have a friend who bought a Dumeril's from them and had no problems, and now has a happy and healthy baby.. so I am just overall indecisive.

Patience pays off. If you had enough doubt to post a new inquiry after reading existing BOIs, I believe your decision is pretty straight forward.

I would avoid them. First of all, they are the only dealer who charges you for the carton they ship in. Second, I bought a skink from them. They advertised with a beautiful picture of the skink. That was not what they sent. What they sent me was an emaciated skink with the backbone showing. It died in a few days. I called and asked for return of my money. They would not give me a refund. They offered to send a replacement skink, but they insisted I pay more money for shipping the replacement
