THE TINMAN
Hello everybody I have been doing this simple go green Idea for about 1 year now and it really works good.I find that I need to breed my own rats for a overall savings after I subtract food/bedding its still alot cheaper to breed your own rats when you get over a certain amount of snakes.Well Bump Bump Bummmm here it is I like to take all my rat bedding and snake aspen bedding and make it into mulch compost.Well I use my far back corner of yard and dump leaves from outside and mix it with all the animal rat bedding, newspaper from snake cages or sometimes aspen bedding,it feeds off the unused nutrients from the bedding and makes awsome compost if covered with a tarp and stirred a have dozen times during the year.I know this sounds trivial but I feel I strectch my dollar further this way instead of throwing it in the trash........ , rodent and snake bedding. I have a couple large compost piles that I have been using to make raised beds and to level out the property in some areas.
