    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I decided to make "natural" looking vivarium for my House snake. You know drift wood, vines, fake plants, natural hides and such. As substrate I decide to go with Cypress Mulch...

And Here I have Question to all of You using that substrate... Can any of You recommended specific "reptile grade" brand of cypress mulch???

I want it clean as much as possible without dealing with wood mites and other bugs.

Thanks in Advance.

i've used Keepers Choice on all my big monitors. I usually pick it up at the white plains expo for ~$22 per 40qt bag.

Actually That what i was Eyeing on last November Show... hmm pRICE IS AWESOME FOR THAT qUANTINY WHAT ABOUT QUALITY ... is Clean ?? What about grade .. i dont want it to br to chunky...
Thanks

i havn't ever had a issue with the cleaniness of it. I have kept not just my big monitors on it, but alao a tortoise and cornsnakes and hognoses on it without issue, and it is presently the substrate on my Eyelash's cage, and she is my pride so i dont take any chances in her tank lol.

And yeah, you gotta go to that guy on stage next to Outback Reptiles, he has the cheapest bags the past couple times. My local reptiles shop retails these bags at $39.

The chips tend to be larger. I dont know if your familiar with the brand of cypress called Forest Floor... that kind is much smaller than the keepers. Its not as big as outdoors mulch tho.

Uhh.. I like size of Forest Floor from Zoomed... Thats what I'm Using Now... I still have enough to survive till April Show... ohh well we see... Thank Anyway :)
