    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I just complete a transaction with Jon Cairns of Florida. He uses the screen name C. hortulanus bites. I purchased a 2009 Amazon Tree Boa.

The transaction went like clockwork. We had some weather problems and a mix up on UPS end and Jon was on top of everything and got the baby to me. I was very pleased. The snake was everything he promised and it was packaged just the way I would have done it. He kept me informed every step of the way.

Great guy Jon. I would recommend him to anyone.


A note for Ship Your Reptile fans. The first time Jon shipped the UPS hub stopped the shipment and sent it back to Jon. They said that UPS did not handle snakes. Jon contacted SYR and they straightened everything out but it meant the snake needed to be shipped twice. Apparently not all of the UPS people are aware of the SYR agreement.
 
Thanks, Wade for a great transaction and understanding of the UPS/SYR ordeal. Just wanted those here to note that my screen name here is BoaMan Jon.

A side note... don't declare what is in your package when you use SYR because your local hub may do their research on its contents when checking it in and find out it's a snake and without seeking the SYR account privilages, immediately redirect it to sender.
 
I've known Jon personally for a number of years and he has always been a good guy. Do not hesitate to do business with him. :)
 
Completed a purchase from Jon Cairns (C. hortulanus bites) for this 2010 ATB and I couldn't be happier. The snake is exactly as described and well established. Jon is a great guy with some amazing animals. He was very professional and the transaction couldn't have gone smoother. Would definitely buy from again. Thanks Jon!
