    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I just had to say something about my latest transaction. While the drama of the past 2 weeks has been going on I made a great friend.

Apollo the dragon certainly created quite an uproar recently. And combined with the drama surrounding Mitch Triana, the BS almost became unbearable. I was going to wash my hands of it completely. Before I did though I made a phone call to Tere simply to tell her that I was sorry for her loss and it was my personal opinion that Apollo was gone and she was not going to get him back. I also told her I wanted to send her a dragon to hopefully try to fill some of the void created by his loss.

She would have none of it!!!

We did however keep talking and forged a great friendship over the last week. Yesterday as we agreed Tere and I made a great trade. She sent me a fantastic female from a great line. Although I had drastically decreased my stock down to 2 males she talked me into trading one of my last males for a female from her. (Oh goody a breeding pair.......) Gee thanks Tere.... Lol

Anyway I just wanted to give her a big thumbs up and say Ty for such a great female. If anyone would like to see a pic just ask and I will snap one of her and post her for all to see. :eatpointe

I know you are still trying to get Apollo back Tere but until you do I hope you like the male I sent you to help take his place.

My experience with Tere

Tere, also, has been SUCH a great person to me, and we have also forged a great friendship. She has SUCH great animals, and she takes SUCH good care of them! I saw photos of almost all of her reptiles, and they were ALL healthy little chubbos! She has not ONCE said anything bad, and has conducted herself AWESOME-LY! (yeah yeah, thats not a word, I know, but she is still great!) She also has offered a beautiful Dragon named Rusty to me, along with an amazing young frilly named Hector. I am in the process of getting everything worked out for the purchase, but she has been amazing throughout! I also offered to give her a few new babies from not only the clutch that just hatched, but also when Rusty had babies too, but, just as with FurrylilDevils, she declined and INSISTED that she would pay for ANYTHING that she took from me. Now that is my definition of a GREAT LADY!!!!

I really like Tere Salazar! She is a very nice person and has written a nice note to me through Fauna in the past even though she does not know me.

We need more people here that write nice kind things, like most of the Leopard Gecko Forum regulars! As opposed to nasty ogres.

I have all the respect in the world for people like Tere Salazar and will always do what I can to help them out. :cool:

You know, I was told about this thread a couple of days ago, and thought that you guys were just trying to get me on here to read all the new drama! :rolleyes:

Well, I must say I am truly honored to have my very own thread (and it's not even a bad guy report!), and I am very lucky to have such wonderful friends!

Mike, the dragon you sent me is spectacular, beyond my expectations. And of course, yours is the first transaction I HAVEN'T worried about since March! :raspberry

David, you are everything I thought you were. You have proven yourself time and time again.

Jim and Bruce, all I can say is that I am honored and blessed. People like you two are the reason Fauna rocks!

The four of you (as well as many others privately) have supported me from the beginning of the drama with Mitch, and I appreciate that more than any of you will ever know. The past couple of weeks has really been difficult for me and knowing I have the support of people like you has definitely helped me along the way!

Dear Fauna Friends-

As I welcome another Mother's Day, I sit here looking into the eyes of my children and I know that I have been truly blessed. Not only do I have the love of my husband, John, and my children, Zach and Nikki, I have the love of my friends and my bearded dragons.

It is with their support and love that I can make this announcement:

APOLLO IS HOME!!! :dancer01:

For reasons only known to him, Mitch Triana sent Apollo home (free of charge) to those who truly love and cherish him. Although I choose not to disclose the circumstances of his return, rest assured he is in good health and will have a long healthy life here with me and those who love him.

To those responsible for the return of Apollo, I am eternally thankful that you chose to do the right thing. Your actions will never be forgotten.

I would like to thank everyone for the support, kind words and generocity that I have received. I am touched beyond words by this Fauna community. Without you, none of this would have been possible.

I can now take a long rest and relax with my family and my "Sun God". I look forward to talking to you all again in a few days.

I can't help but picture the grinch sitting on his mountaintop dancing around with all the people of Whosville's christmas presents.

I don't mean in any way, shape or from that I approve of Mitch Triana but I am thrilled that his heart grew at least one size bigger and he returned Apollo.

Receiving a phone call from a hysterical, babbling, crying, screaming woman really made my day!!!! :rofl:

And for your next call Tere, no need to call me OMG, OMG, OMG. A simple Mike will do!!! :raspberry

I haven't done any business with Tere....I'm not into Dragons (YET?) but I can see just from what small amount I've spoken with her on here and thru PM, that she's the kind of person this industry needs more of.....someone who doesn't think of it as "just" a business but sincerely CARES for her animals.....congrats, Tere.

I didn't think she would get him back either. She sent me pics of him last night and OMG.......... Although some breeders would say he's not "top notch" I think she should do a breed with him just because he is pretty much her PR spokesman at this point.

I am so glad that everything worked out for you. You are one of my favorite customers and it always make may happy to see the way you take care of your dragons. Tere is the type of person that you want all your baby dragons to go to. Again glad everything worked out and hold on to Apollo tight.
