In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I'm just sitting here with my beautiful Rhino Iguana I got from Ty Park. I had purchased two beautiful Rhino iguanas one was a blue multi horned rhino iguana the other was just a multi horned iguana. I paid 450 shipped for one and 550 shipped for the other. The one for 550 i bought for my girlfriend and the one for 450 was mine. They were absolutely beautiful when I got them. He took the time to text me to let me know that they might not eat for a week or so and not to worry it's normal but to spend as much time with them as I possibly could. We had them for about 2 months and we were holding them every day. It was Christmas day and we were at my family's all day. We got home about 6pm I went to reach in to get my rhino and it had a seizure and died right there in front of me! I was in total disbelief. I was absolutely devastated. Well the next day i called Ty to let him know what happened and to tell him I wanted another but it would be a few days till I had the money to buy another one. I wanted to make sure if he was about out if he would hold me one. I in no way felt Ty was responsible. It was just an unfortunate thing that happened. His reptiles are absolutely amazing and I did not want one from anyone else. Well I told him what happened and he said he was out of town he would be back in a couple of days and not to worry he had one. Well after a couple of days I text him and he said to email his farm my address what sex rhino I wanted and when i could recieve it. I had told them im home every morning. He then said he would call me back. I figured he would call me back with payment information. Well I waited and he didn't call so I figured I would call him the next day. Well at 10:00 am fed ex delivered me a new Rhino iguana free of charge free shipping and everything! Words could not describe how happy and extremely grateful I was that Ty did this. I called him right away to thank him. I tried to make it abundantly clear how grateful I was but I definitely don't think he knew. He never asked me for a picture or anything he just took my word. Now mind you he does not know me at all and the reason I put what I paid for the iguanas was to let people know it wasn't a cheap reptile. I was honestly shocked at his generosity. I was really gonna have to scrape to get another one. I have sat on this story for some time but I'm sitting here holding Najja my rhino iguana that I absolutely love and I just feel this is a story that needs to be told! I am eternally grateful that Ty Park did what he did for me. I don't know if he reads these threads but I just want to say that Najja and nari are doing absolutely fantastic they are a huge part of our family and thank you so much! I would definitely buy from Ty Park again and would refer anybody that asks me to do the same!

Keven, I am glad you had such a positive experience. Not everyone is as fortunate, but this worked out quite nicely considering there was no obligation. I can recall another person's experience where there actually was an obligation and it did not have nearly so kind a response. Rhino iguanas are really cool animals to work with as projects and fun to keep as pets. Especially the males when they mature after lots of human interaction. Yes, Ty definitely reads these threads.

The fact that Ty is seemingly such a good guy only makes his slight against Michelle that much worse. Imagine waking up as a kid on Christmas morning and instead of stocking stuffers you discover that jolly old Saint Nick has stolen your favorite toy. Now try convincing the millions of happy kids out there that this kind old elf isn't all he's cracked up to be.. That so many people can continuously turn a blind eye even when presented with proof makes me more than a little nauseous. I'm glad you had a good experience, Keven. You certainly are in the majority when it comes to dealings with Ty. This is still no consolation to the Michelle Cutlers of the world. If anything, it probably makes them feel worse. It's never too late to make amends, Ty.

No ma'am at the time I was not a member of fauna and I wasn't selling reptiles. I'm not sure why that would matter. The whole point of this thread was to express my gratitude for a kind act that has effected my family in a very positive way. These Rhino Iguanas are a part of our every day life. Ty could have just as easily told me to buy another one but he did not do that. Without hesitation he sent me my rhino. I think that is something that people should know if thinking of purchasing from him. People can try to pick this apart and I don't care! He did a very kind thing here when he really didn't have to! Again I don't know Ty from anybody he knows nothing about me. There's so much hate in this world I just don't get it! It's just really nice when someone does something nice for you with absolutely nothing to gain!

It matters, because TY has said he will not do business with anyone who is a member of this forum.

Exactly how long ago was your purchase?

I was just sitting holding my Rhino Iguanas and was feeling very grateful for them and just wanted to share my experience. I see so much negative on here I felt it would be nice to share my positive experience. Something nice that was done instead of a negative thread! It's not every day someone gives a person a 500.00 reptile with no strings attached. I don't know what kept me from telling this story before and I don't know why I felt compelled to tell it now but no matter what has been said about Ty this is how he treated me and I feel like he deserves this positive thread! So I guess the simple answer is I don't know why I chose to tell what happened until now. It just came to me!

My son just got out Of the hospital and was bed ridden I could not leave to go pick them up.

Do you know what caused the seizure/death of your iguana? Did Ty ask for further details and offer any insight? As great as the gesture was, getting to the root of the problem would be foremost in my mind in this scenario whether I put myself in the shoes of the buyer or the seller.

I had a lot on my plate my son just coming out of a coma I was more worried about him at the time then what happened to my rhino. With all that was going on then the rhino passing I guess it never crossed my mind as to why. When Ty sent me a new one I was actually at the end of my rope! It had been one bad thing after another and anyone that has kids knows when something happens that's horrible to them it consumes your every thought. This is the last comment im leaving cause this is just becoming to much. Ty did not know it but him doing what he did at that point in time gave me a little happiness in a very hard time. I'm not going into detail what happened to my son and I'm done commenting on this thread. Just sometimes things happen for whatever reason that can make you feel better when your hurting the worst and that's what happened here!

Well, since you won't answer my question, I am left to assume your review is not exactly as it seems to be.

I agree with Chris, if my son was in a coma, the last thing on my mind would be acquiring a new animal(s) that require a lot of attention. [I have 4 sons, so I know that for a fact, I wouldn't be purchasing any animal.] Not to mention, no matter how good the insurance is, there is always money left to be paid.

Not commenting further is a good idea, cause you keep adding things that create holes.

It all just seems a bit backwards to me, Keven. I don't know anybody who'd lose a beloved pet and the next day contact a seller about getting another one without at least questioning the cause of death. While we're on this line of reasoning, what kind of seller doesn't ask what happened to the one they originally sent before graciously offering a free replacement? I'm not trying to ruin a happy memory during apparently tough times but you opened this can of worms and something smells fishy.

I've also received kind gestures from folks who later turned to the dark side. Bobby Hill(Varnyard) replaced a tegu that was stolen from my property with not just 1 but 2 new babies the following season. I praised him to the moon and back and recommended him to many potential customers. Once things fell apart, while I'm still grateful on a personal level, I never again pointed anybody in his direction looking to buy an animal and certainly ceased all praise singing. While he always did right(and beyond) by me, he ripped off other people and I refuse to support that kind of behavior. Have you read the linked thread about Ty Park, Keven? If so, do you still think he merits your original post with the crap he's currently pulling on Michelle?
