Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I was HOPING that thread or conversation would never come up again. I was being pretty immature and so was John.
I think that he should try to represent himself on the forums in a good way, not attack everyone. I don't think it is helping him at all.
 
I will not get in the fights about forum stuff. Alot of stuff happens on forums and I only skim and lurk mostly. No time to be on them all the time. Therefore, I miss any tiffs.
But I have dealt with Jasballs and I would reccomend and definately do business with him in the future.Great animals, great guy and great service.
 
I would not hesitate to purchase from John. He has been a help to me even as I have not bought any animals from him as of yet.
 
I've had my share of head butting contests with John on other forums myself. But I also purchased a female mojave ball from him recently and am very happy with the way the whole experience went. He handles his business dealings professionally. The animal was exactly as he described her, the communications were prompt, and the shipping and packaging were first rate. I wouldn't hesitate to do business with him again.

I guess that you don't have any daughters. I have two of them. Calling a 13 year old girl that word is not voicing an opinion, it's rude and way over the line no matter what you think. Saying that you are a dumbass would be voicing an opinion. See the difference?

If you want to take exception with him using the "C" word that's your choice; to continue to berate him for using it on a 13 year old after it was already established that he didn't know she was 13, and apologized after he found out, well that's just being rancorous. :rolleyes:

You honestly dont see what is wrong with calling a 13 year old girl a c***? Be it on forums or in person there is no excuse for that from an adult.

I have a 13 year old daughter and I can tell you right now that a straight up ass whoopin' is what would happen, be it mine or his, if a grown man was to call my daughter that in my presence. There would be no exchange of words, it would just be on.
 
Gentlemen, it is well known that I think jas is a friggin dumbass but IF he did not know and then appologized, why further berate him for it?

He did what was appropriate under the circumstances.

Now if it turns out that he DID know she was a kid, then it merely reaffirms my earlier opinion of him; total dumbass.

I was taking exception with the dumbass gary crain who thought it was funny and an "opinion", not with jas. My opinion of him was formed long before that occasion. But frankly, it doesn't matter if jas used the word on an adult or a child. Would you like someone calling your mother that, apology or not? Thought not.

You know Jim, I'm not interested in getting into a pissing contest with you; you don't like John that's your business, I could really care less. However, don't presume to know what I do or do not think. Would I care if someone called my mother that? Not really, I don't think she is one and could care less what some stranger on a message board thought.

I have talked to John on the phone a few times, I also have no doubt he is not a scammer. However, he has a very huge problem with self-control, and I do not deal with these types if I can help it. I think just about anything can be worded without such a lack in class; I don't care if she was 13 or 60 that is no way to talk to a lady. It is worse that she was a child, but regardless it was uncalled for. JMHO.

Oh BTW, anyone that condones that type of behavior towards a child is not less than a scumbag
 
Ive never talked to him or bought anything from him but I would have no problem doing so in the future, just because a few people don't like the way he says things. People have bought from him and are very happy, for those who refuse to give him any business then Im sure you will have much luck buying from Big Daddy. Good luck with that. Jas carry on being yourself, it keeps me entertained. Does this make me a scumbag?

As for what you would think, maybe you are a very calm person, and wouldn't care, but the "tone" of your posts indicates otherwise. Seems you came partially unglued at the mere mention of it. One suggestion would be not to be a mouthpiece or excuse maker for your hot headed friend. He may produce nice animals and deal fairly but there are many out there who do. The fact that he has such a temper would make me extremely concerned that he would handle a dispute poorly. And after all, it is not the 99% of transactions that are good that define one, but the 1% that unavoidably go bad. My guess is that we have seen enough of his "bad side" that we know just how it would be. Perhaps he will pony up the $50 to pay his well earned fine and defend himself, or perhaps he will continue to leave it to his "friends". Either way, I would wager that he has found other sites that he can be banned from already.

Well you are partially correct, I am a calm person. We have a difference of opinion, hardly worth coming "unglued" over. Truth be told Jim, I don't hold you in high enough regard to let your opinions or assumptions determine my mood.

I don't know John but I have heard good things about him and his animals, and I would not hesitate to buy from him in the future if an opportunity presented itself.

Yes he might have a bad boy attitude that has caused him to be banned several times from several forums, however those are not the things that matter to me; passion, honesty and quality animals are.
