    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I obtained this big guy from Rob Carmichael in 2019 in a group of hatchlings. He lost a few digits and the tip of his tail to his siblings but he has grown into a big, impressive animal with really nice coloration. He's easily one of the reddest I've seen and could father some gorgeous babies.

All this being said, I refer to him as a "male" but I don't truly know. I've never paired him and am no expert in sexing monitors.

He has grown up in my classroom and is very used to activity outside of his enclosure. However, despite the best efforts of some of my more determined kiddos, he's not super comfortable being handled. He will allow people to pet him but he gets really squirmy if you pick him up. He doesn't bite (unless he thinks you're food), nor does he tail whip. He just wriggles.

He is eating supplemented ground turkey, dubia, crickets, and the occasional pinkie. He is not a picky eater by any means.

Since almost all the hard work of socialization has been done, he will make for a great pet for someone, or a heck of a red-enhancer for someone wanting to breed him. It's hard to capture in pictures but he is a very nice looking animal.

I am asking $200 for him. PM me for more information.
