• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Bad Guy Gorgeous Geckos selling sick animals

I'm on board with everyone else. The only proof Ryan posted makes him look like the bad guy, not the seller. Interesting that Ryan has seemed to be responding minimally in this thread as well. We are all waiting for a response...
 
When did you receive the sick animals? I recall seeing several posts on FB a little while ago of people losing animals from Kim. I'm curious if yours falls within that time frame, as she has since mentioned the problem was taken care of.

A refund is certainly due, at the least end, for the one gecko that passed away (with proof of its being deceased).

Of course, my opinion (or a portion of my opinion) could change depending upon whatever proof, communications, etc., that Ryan posts.... if those things offer something up that would cause me to change any part of my opinion.

After reading the communications, posted by Ryan (in the drop box), my opinion (above quote) has, still, not been changed.
In fact, that info has further made me side with Kim and has made Ryan appear to be greedy by wanting a full refund (repeatedly asked for &/or demanded) based on his word alone and no proof (other than one deceased gecko).

Ryan: Kim's offers, in this thread, goes above & beyond.
I would suggest that you take her up on one of her two offers.
Otherwise, without any further info or photos, you should, probably, just drop the whole thing, treat the geckos on your own (if they do, indeed, have a heavy parasite load - since no proof was posted), and just enjoy keeping/having the geckos.

BTW Other than your not explaining why it took a two day shipping, the above portion, in bold, has also been "bothering" me.
Why would an offer, of a refund/replacement for the deceased gecko (that passed away very shortly after you finally(??) got the geckos home), raise red flags?
After all, even though not every breeder will do it, there are many breeders who will offer a refund/replacement under such a scenario (of an animal arriving deceased or passing away within days of receipt). In Kim's case, this offer may have also been further driven by a feeling that she felt it possible that she may have had some responsibility due to the shipping error. So, again, it makes me wonder about just why you would state that it raised a red flag.
