With much consideration I have decided to part with an extra male ornate monitor. Absolutely gorgeous pattern and color on this one. Looks like a diamond python with legs !
This little guy is a long term captive, parasite free , and kept outdoors in natural sunlight !
I don't really handle most of my monitors but this one will tong feed like crazy which is a big step in the trust building process. I am hesitant to label any monitor "tame" as the changing of owners and the unknown aspect of future care can severely alter a varanids temperament. I am more so inclined to tell you this animal is very healthy, voracious appetite and has a good initial foundation of trust laid out. The rest is up to you.
Feeding on multiple whole fish species, chicks and rodents.
Would prefer local pickup from the Austin, TX area but would possibly consider shipping through Ship Your Reptiles once temps drop a bit.
