In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Wow, I've been anxiously waiting this girl's first shed. Finally (cause it takes forever!) she shed this afternoon.

I'm in love with her deep dark colors; her blushing; and her cool pattern. She's one of the best mystics I've hatched out yet!

Anyway, I'm hoping these pics do her justice. Fighting the urge to hang on to this one...

To each their own, but I'm in love with this one. She's so much darker than the others I have. There's no question that she's a mystic, either.

I'm confused? If you guys don't think that's a Mystic then don't go do a Google image search for Mystic. That's the majority of what you are going to see......I don't own any Mystics but it appears to be as the man says a "dark Mystic"

Nolan, google images has some awful mystics then.

The first third (if that) of the snake looks Mysticish, the the whole rest of the body looks much more normal.

Odd for sure, I wouldn't say a good example of a Mystic though.

I'm not claiming that she's a good example of a mystic. I'm saying that she's a gorgeous one for what I like in them.

I'm not going to try to prove whether or not this is a mystic, as that's just silly. We've hatched out 5 or 6 mystic clutches now, and this is absolutely a mystic. The pairing was Mystic sire X dark "Normal" dam. There were 2 eggs that ended up hatching from 12. The brother to this one is a dark "normal".

I was checking this mystic out today outside in the sun. Her colors are way different than other mystics we've hatched. I'm starting to wonder if there's a second gene at play. Possibly it was just some incubation issue. The "normal" male sibling is quite dark, too, and he stands out as a very cool black back normal.

For anyone wondering, I acquired the dam from someone who had her for 4 years. They told me that she was very small when they got her. So I assumed that she's a 2005-2007. This was her first clutch ever. In looking for some pics of her, I'm only finding pics of when I got her (had a computer crash since then, and I've been muddling through backed up files trying to find lots of different pics). She was in rough shape with stuck shed and a few burn and bite scars. She ate very well and got up to the 3800 gram range before she laid.

After having her lay 12, with 4 being slugs, and then 6 more dying, I decided I'd sell her (I have quite a few female morphs that are up to size and age for breeding, now). I sold her to a guy here in my town. I'll call him up, maybe, and see if I can come take some pics of her. It's just a few blocks away from me...

Anyway, thanks for checking her out. And to those who question if she's a mystic, go ahead and keep wondering. There's absolutely no question about it. Maybe I'll post pics of the sire and some mystics from other clutches from him. The first 3 pics are of the dam. The last one is of the sire (left) next to a normal.

Attached are some pics of some sibling mystics. I really like the granite speckling our sire passes to his offspring.

Here is the potion we produced. Hopefully our next mojo clutch will have more. She's just about to ovy, so I still have an eternity of waiting...

Mystic or not ... Dude, I'd be ashamed of myself for posting pictures of that normal female in that condition. There's no excuse for that.

Yeah, I meant to mention that part. Those pictures are from the day she arrived at my place. I consider her a rescue. She had been treated horribly by previous owners. I felt horrible for her. She really did well in my care. That was absolutely not my doing.

Had the chance to take some more pics of the dam today.

I'm only seeing a chocolatey colored normal.

So now that another year has passed, and I've bred the mom of the original thread-starter, I've determined that she's likely a chocolate mystic.
She's gorgeous! She's not like the chocolates that hatched from this year's clutch, but she's clearly also not just a mystic.

Here she is today:
