In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Got a new ball a few weeks ago. showed up with clicky breathing

Yep. Right now his humidity is at 40% should I increase it? I put a bowl of water in his cage 3 times a day( Bigger than his water bowl) I have a humidity gauge in there.

I will definitely let everyone know how he does. He's really a pretty little guy.
I was thinking that the delay on fed ex's part could have caused him to get sick-and possibly caused the sniffle which caused this. Can it really hit so quickly??

I know snakes don't tend to eat with RI, but he still eats like a champ.

I am cleaning the glass walls every day, and I washed his bowl this morning-I'll wash it again each morning when I refill it.
I moved him to the tank because I wanted to get him away from all my other quarantined guys.
I also mist him, in addition to the extra bowl of water that I put in and take out.

I never really suggest misting for ball pythons when it comes to humidity...tho it works for some snakes...ball pythons require the humidity to be in the air around them, not to be on their skin.

Spraying water on their skin can actually make things like shedding more difficult, just in general. And water on their skin does nothing for their breathing requirements if the air is still dry.

what exactly are you using to gauge the humidity in the tank? those stick on ones at the pet store are junk = /

No, it's a stand alone one I got at a feed supply store. I don't buy the stick on things.

He was shedding but the shed is coming off easier now...
Maybe I'll just leave the bigger bowl in the tank.

He came to me sick and got it cleared up.

I hope you haven't started dosing him yourself without getting cultures from a vet first. Baytril is petty rough stuff and it would suck if you needlessly started injecting him with it = /
