In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hello, everyone. This is a bit of an introduction for me also, as well as my new hoggie.

I tend to hang out at Cornsnakes.com because up until a week ago, cornsnakes were all I kept. Then, someone on the CS.com forum posted a pic of their hoggie and I was hooked. After talking with lots of owners/breeders and researching the web, I decided it was time to venture out of the cornsnake realm.

I found an 18g normal Western male at the Portland Expo last weekend. I snapped him up (he was the only young male there!) and have been absolutely delighted with him since. He has already eaten twice for me and comes out several times a day. He likes to hang out under my shirt, curled up against my neck when I am reading on the couch.

I still love my corns - I think they have nice personalities and I love their rainbow colors . . . but I am totally addicted to my hoggie! He is the funniest thing and such a sweetheart. I can't believe how quickly I have gotten attached!

Enough talk, on to the pics! :D

Presenting Cyrano de Hogerac, Mr. Cutie-patootie! (except when he poops in my hair, like he did this morning! :ack2: )

Checking out the new digs:

And one of my faves - soaking up the warmth of the laptop while I was resizing pics. ~LOL~ He stayed there for about an hour, hanging out with me.

Thanks for looking! As you can tell, I am a little obsessed with my new baby

He's so cute! I can see why you are obsessed.:D

I started out on Cornsnakes.com, came here to look at the classifieds, and talked myself out of a corn! I've decided I want a male too, I just like the smaller size. I'm planning to go to the MidWest Reptile show next Sat at the fairgrounds here in Indianapolis. Hope I can find my own little cutie, if not, I'm gonna be back here looking for one online!

Very cute! That pinkie looks huge compared to him, I'm used to my BP so hoggies just seem so little. I held one last year and fell in love but still haven't picked my own up yet.

Thanks! He is my baby :D

Don't get me wrong, I still do like my corns, but he is definitely more active during the day than my corns and tends to stay with me instead of trying to go-go-go all the time. Cyrano will actually just sit with me and not try to slither off all the time.

I chose a male because I wanted him to stay small and several people I talked to said the males are more mellow.

The pinkie looks huge, but actually he got it down just fine and it barely made a lump in his belly. It was 3g. I gave him a 5g the second time I fed him. Bigger lump, but still ate it just fine :)

Very nice boy you have there! I must have missed him on my way around, the only ones I saw were much bigger than that. You will not be disapointed with him I'm sure. Just so you know my girl gets really huffy and puffy right before she goes into shed so look out for that. congrats on the find!
