    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

So I went ahead and got my horned frog yesterday :dancer01:
He (?) is an absolute cutie!! :D

So if anybody can tell me a little more about for instance humidity, that would be nice. If seen 65 to 75 %, I've seen 80%, but most just say "high humidity" without much more.

Horn frogs are cute, been toying with the idea of getting one myself. Like I need another animal :D. From what research I have done they seem to be fairly tolerant creatures. 60-75% sounds okay for humidity, I personally feel like 75-85% is a good range. As long as the frog has a water area that it can soak in, it should be fine. Also using a moistened mossy type substrate will help keep humidity up if you find you're having problems. As far as feeding goes, in nature these guys are ambush predators. They sit in one spot for days waiting for something tasty to come by and WHAM! So in captivity when you're feeding them daily they can have issues with obesity. After all they're eating at a buffet and not expending much energy. So either feed a few items daily or feed more/bigger items every 2-3 days. And don't forget to dust :thumbsup:. Hope that helps you some, enjoy that cutie.

Thanks for your answer Dan! I do have a water area, but he never seems to go in it.
I feed every 2 days now, I will probably take that down a bit when he grows.
Until now, he seems to do fine, and he is SO CUTE !! :D
