    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I just recently finished a transaction with Josh Sardinas (Fauna Name: Tuscani521). He purchased 2 Ball Pythons from me about a month ago and gave me his word that he would be back for a third. He asked if I could pull the ad off and hold #3 with no down payment. As much crap as I read about people (NOT Josh) here on Fauna I went with the deal on his word and a handshake. "Yes those two things still mean a lot to me!" Today about a month later like Josh said he was here with cash in hand to pick up that 3rd Ball Python. Josh has been a great buyer, great guy to talk to, plus has given me some huge advice.

The Advice:
As much as I love the snake hobby I hate breeding rats. I'd just buy them every week but that turns out to be way to much money. I can't stand them because of the smell. I've always cleaned our rat cages every week but even after a couple days of being clean they already start to smell. Josh told me that the best bedding to use was ABM. I've never heard of it and always read about people with the same problem. I have not read of one solution yet. For a month now I've been using a little ABM mixed with pine shavings and it's done wonders. I do a LITTLE spot cleaning once a week and a complete clean after the 3rd week. This stuff is great at keeping the smell down and now my advice to everyone breeding rodents is to use it.
