Wally is straight by the book. He has to inspect my venomous snakes once a year. He has been expecting the same cage/setup for 7 years now and every year he makes us change something, even though they were just like that the year before. Ha ha

Wally worked hard with me on this and there were no problems with anyone he even aswered over 500 e-mails and was plaesed to see nothing was at show that shouldn't be

Kellie, no disrespect intended, but one of the major questions that this thread has addressed is the inability to trust YOUR WORD. Therefore, it's probably in your best interest to answer the questions that have been put to you in writing in this forum.

I understand that everyone has reasons for what they do. Other people have reported that in your conversations with them it was indicated that your husband is the more culpable in this matter. I'm not meaning to sound harsh, but most people aren't going to have much sympathy for that line of defense.

If YOU said that 6,000 tickets were pre-sold, that's on you. If YOU wrote a check to someone on an account that had been closed for more than a year, that's on you.

So far, you've said that you're sorry people were upset, that you tried really hard to make it a good show, and you can't be responsible for what your husband said. That's a start. I think, though, that if you truly want to make things right and be welcomed in this hobby, you need to own up to the choices that YOU made and explain yourself.

You're not the first person to find herself married to a jerk; that doesn't give you license to lie and write fraudulent checks.

Yep! Please show me where this was done. Below is the only “attempt” I have seen from her at apologizing, but it is sandwiched between a bunch of manipulative garbage. The first line is a whopper!

As for you dennis you say we are bad people but why not mention how i paid your rent in your store so that you did'nt lose your kids while yoe were going to court and had to choose between your store and a house so you could get your kids back. or how i made sure you had food when you were sleeping in your store and had no money? Since that statement she seems to want to discuss this further only in the chat room. Why won't she discuss things here for all to see where it can be seen by all and set in stone so to speak? I do not see her explaining anything about her lying about the pre-sold tickets either.

I would be greatly surprised if he was ever the brainchild of anything. Ha ha. He is currently on a tirade of accusing Kellie and I of an affair. I have only met the girl once and have not seen her since.

If he (Troy) wasn't the brainchild then that leaves Kelli. I don't know how many people were contacted by Troy, but I was contacted by Kelli. Only Kelli has come here to post prior to the show, and since.

I didn't go into the chatroom with her. I figured that I'd heard enough of her lies during the show. She continuously lied her way through the entire weekend. And now she's sorry & wants us to believe her? She & Troy have children together. She's obviously known her husband was crooked long before this. I feel like this was a get cash quick scheme for the both of them. When they didn't make all the money they thought they would, they point fingers at each other. Money is the #1 cause of divorce. Troy will most likely post here before it's over. Then we'll get to hear his side.
Kellie, you stood there & told us lie after lie to our faces. I'm sure you did want the show to have a better turnout, but you should have been upfront & honest with us from the beginning. Then we'd all be on here posting about how the show was awful in spite of your efforts. The rodent guys pulled in Sunday & you said "Oh, that's a church group. We had an announcement made at the local churches." Then you hurried into the building when you realized that we knew it was the kids of the rodent guy getting out of their van. And your phone was constantly ringing with people wanting directions. No one I'd spoken to at the show had seen you on the cell phone. Not once.
How are you going to feel when your kids grow up & tell you nothing but lies? You're going to be hurt when that starts. But they learn this from Mommy. You are supposed to be a role model for them.
By the way, I've only went into the chatroom once or twice with FRIENDS. So don't invite me into the chatroom.

Thanks Sherry. As you've noticed, I'm not one for giving second chances. At least not in cases like this one. I'm not a soft-hearted person that can be easily taken in by a bunch of boo-hoo BS. When we all showed up at Nashville, she should have come clean then. I think most of us would have partially understood why she lied on the website, but to continue to stand by what she had advertised was totally wrong. She could just as easily told us that she misrepresented the info on the website in the hopes of attracting more people. But no, she lied, lied lied, and then lied some more.
And now she's sorry? We knew that before the show ended.

Plain and Simple

I was called by Kellie and asked to come do the show.I was a little leery as I had only started seeing Kellie & Troy around the shows about 6 months ago.
They made it sound really great,My conversation with them was done via speaker phone,with both her & Troy talking to me.
Kellie told me about the 6000 advance tickets sold,with Troy chiming in,in the background.
When I was rather hesitant,I was made a great offer,If I would buy 1 table they would throw an extra table my way.
They were having the event catered.Roarke was going to be doing shows.
There was going to be a petting zoo.Advertising out the wazoo.
That they figured their show would soon be as big if not bigger than Daytona.
That Nashville had not had a reptile show in 10 years.

My info came from both Kellie and Troy,I really think that putting all this off on one or the other,is very wrong.The names are Troy and Kellie Wikel.

Hey,I like prime rib as much as the next person.
Roarke did pretty good considering most of his shows had 5 to 10 people in the chairs,and most of those were kids,my grand-daughter,Gregs son,the mouse guys kids and kellie's son.
Petting Zoo,WHERE?.The guy from Emerald said that was one of the main reasons he picked his spot.
When we got there on Friday at about 09:00,they were not there yet,the guy at the door said they would be back at about 11:00,that they had just finished doing a T.V. ad.Great News to hear.
When we got back,they were just pulling in and wanted us to come listen to their radio as the commercial advertising the show was about to play.
It was a really good commercial.

If they had asked us to come and help them get their new show started,without any of the lies,we would have come.

Should we have believed all of this,any of us?

Most of us did not really know these two.
I think we were excited about the show,because they were excited about doing the show.
They are excellent salesmen.
I do not believe for a moment that they are divorcing,Troy worships Kellie,thats why he let her front this show.
Lesson learned,a bunch of people burned.

troy also told me he was LAPD and an agent for home land security i also feel sorry for his dad larry i am sure he is getting the brunt of it due to the fact his kung fu studio is still in town troy and kelly and their homeless friends have taken over his house!

he never worked for LAPD and he did work at the airport cking bags for security, not what i am sure he told you he was.

Has anyone received anything from the Wikels? Money owed? Phone call? Email? Explanation?

They came to the New Orleans show in May. They were last minute so they wrote a check at the show for their spaces. Not only was the check no good. It was on a closed account! I understand checkbook mistakes, racing the deposit and those sorts of things people do but writing a check on a closed account means you KNOW it's going to bounce.

If anyong has found another method of contact for Troy and Kellie, please let me know.

On the other hand people who not only write a bad check but write a bad check on a closed account are outright STEALING and they know it when they hand you that check!

I knew they were starting to do the shows again. They were at the Repticon show in Augusta Ga. not too long ago. So maybe you could contact Billy Healey & see if he's heard from them recently.
They probably used the same checkbook that they had in Nashville. I really hate that they scammed you too. Those two should be jailed.

The checks they wrote for the Nashville show were on a closed account. Why haven't these two been arrested for fraud yet? What were they doing at your show? Promoting another show?!?!! Why hasn't word circulated among show promoters about these two so that they don't use your shows to perpetuate crime?! The only good thing about the possibility of them having another show is that we would know where they were going to be and when so the police (and FBI since they have committed check fraud outside of Tennessee as well as inside) can be there to arrest them. I'd say they had a lot of balls, but I've met them... It's more because they are imbeciles. I strongly encourage you to file charges with the local police where your show was held and suggest that they contact their state FBI office, as well as the office in Nashville. Somebody has got to take them down and you currently are someone with evidence that could do so.

What was the name of that terrible country singer friend of theirs? I think it was Aaron something. He apparently was living with them at the time of the Nashville show. I know he had a website and that might be one way for the authorities to find them. Also, Troy's dad may have a kung fu studio in the Nashville/Smyrna area. I'll see what I can do about coming up with their home address. MJ
