This snake is no longer available. The herpstat II is available for $125 shipped.
I bought this girl from Ryan Nefcy in December of 2010. She comes from a designer line, but looks much like a Jayapura or Sorong. I was able to get some information from Ryan, which lead me to some pictures of her parents and siblings. Unfortunately, I lost these pics in a computer disaster last year. I found her on faunaclassifieds.com, but do not know if Ryan is still active on here.
The snake: I paid $350 for her. She was born April of 2009. Overall she is very calm, but does not like to be handled or touched (she will bite you). I planned on breeding her (for the designer genes), but with my job I have been unable to be home enough, consistently, to breed her. This is the main reason why I am selling her; I would like to reduce my collection from 4 to 2.I will gladly provide more pics if needed.
The Tank: I built the tank myself with 3/4" plywood and some awesome plexiglass doors. It has been well protected with a base coat of Kiltz and has a plexiglass bottom (on the inside of the tank). The tank comes with a Pro Heat (Pro Products) 65 watt radiant heat panel. Also included is the Nova Extreme 48" T5 HO light fixture.
I would also like to include the Herpstat II Proportional Thermostat. It is the older unit (purchased 10/08/2009), but has worked great!
Heat Panel: $94.95
Nova Extreme: $118.15
Herpstat II: $215.00
Tank: No idea, but likely $150+\
Total: ~$570
I have receipts for the Herpstat, Nova light and the Heat Panel.
If you would like I can just sell the snake for $300, but I would prefer to sell the snake, tank, light, Herpstat and heat panel for $600. I think that is a great deal!
I will not ship since I do not know how/think I will not get it right. But I will gladly drive to meet within the Chicago area. Also I frequently drive to KY so Indianapolis, Louisville and Cincinnati are okay.
