Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Just wanted to stop in and say hello, im new to the forum. my 6 year old male green iguana is at the vet and i fear its to late for him, but not sure, took him in last mon because he had not been eating and looked ill, vet did a blood test and his calcium levels were very low4.4 which suprized me because i made sure he got calcium supplement and plenty of sun light. he gave him an inj of cal and he seemed to be doing better was alert eating and also drinking. by thurs he was doing was able to come home but i wanted to make sure so i let him stay till sat, picke him up and he seemed much better but not like he was before, today i noticed he was at the bottom of his cage an dthought wow he must be doing beeter if he climbed down, left him there and came back a little while later and he was still there, well like all igs he likes to bask in the sunlight ,so i placed him on a spot that he likes to be came in a 1/2 hour later and he was on his back trying to turn over but it looked like he didnt have any control of his limbs, immediatly pick him up and noticed he was in serious condition so i drove him to the vet. vet was suprised to see him back and looked very concerned, x-ray indicated an previously overlooked growth on the kidney. so here i am, very upset and worried, sometimes i wonder why these creatures are removed from captivity. did every thing i read about in taking care of him. but still not enough??

hes a very beautiful iguana. theres only so much you can do to keep pets healthy- it sounds like you did everything you could of- you should be proud of yourself - other people may have given up considering his condition- I wish you and your iguana the best of luck- take care :thumbsup:
