    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

To be fair Greg, Regardless if anyone agrees on the rules or the enforcement of them, Jim has received warning points for similar post violations. I don’t understand how he could be playing “favorites” with him.
 
Why thank you Dennis !! Greg H in Fauna was a one trick pony at best, and more like a broken record (they came before CD's .. young'uns). He reminded me of the hapless comic whose best line was to tell the joke told by the comic who was on stage just before him, and then couldn't understand the lack of appreciation. Evidently he did some things well, as I trust the earlier endorsements of a few of his deals by others. Seems as though he was hell-bent on deflating whatever good-standing he had, and is one more testimonial that Foot-in-Mouth has always been a predominantly human disease.
 
Tends to be kind of strange how a "good guy" post gets side tracked down the road of endless drama.

Myself I am pretty sick of people crying over points given to them for infractions of the rules they broke. Kind of strange considering I am not even a mod here but still it is just a never ending process it seems of claiming "selective moderation". Get a grip people!!!

Now back to you regular good old what ever this is. ;)

Agreed. It is relevant and a service to potential customers to allow them to make decisions based on a more complete view of the person based on their very own words.

Rich , Why do you always post off topic posts in peoples good guy threads when you havent done business with them ? Why is that anytime someone doesnt like what you do or how you run things or opposes you you try to make them out to be some POS ? why is it when you ask members what they want to see and they tell you you tell them to leave and not come back ?

My inclination was to just delete the HELL forum completely, but several people have commented where they somehow found the nature of HELL to be much to their liking. As such, they have requested that it be an optionally accessible forum for a fee to anyone really interested in being in that sort of environment. At first, I was going to just reject this proposal out of hand and be done with it, but at second thought I figured, "heck, why not?" Some people value entertainment over most everything, so perhaps that is what people wish in the HELL forum. It's not my cup of tea, but I guess I shouldn't judge everything by my own personal yardstick.

The HELL forum is now set up (if I did it correctly) where none of the threads are visible to anyone at all. In order to gain access, a member must do a paid subscription plan in order to become a member of the member group which has full access to that forum. By "full access" I mean that all read and write capabilities, including starting a new thread, replying to threads, posting polls, etc. are completely enabled to that membership. NO ONE ELSE CAN EVEN READ THOSE THREADS NOR POSTS WITHIN THAT FORUM ANY LONGER.

This way I can truly enforce who goes in there and who does not. By paying the membership fee, someone explicitly desires to go into that environment, and is solely responsible for their own decision to do so. Personally, I really don't want it accessible to anyone who doesn't specifically desire strongly to be there. If someone wants to pay the fee ($10 per year) for what they can do in HELL, then have at it. The moderators will be put on notice that the HELL forum is to be COMPLETELY unmoderated. My recommendation would be for them to not even go there, much less participate, as it has proven in the past to not be a very nice place to visit.

So, nicolai, you have gotten what you have asked for, I think. If this flops and no one is willing to pay for access, then I will feel that I have done the best I can do, and will consider the HELL forum as dead and buried. There is no other option I am willing to consider at this point for the final disposition of that particular forum.

As in the other paid memberships, you can access it through the Paid Subscription options in your User CP drop down menu.

Seems this thread is going a bit off-topic. If I read your drift in the paradigm shift thread, I take it that inclusion of the above is in the best overall interest of Fauna, as we must take the bad with the good, and that standards did not work. I would beg to differ, and it appears the inmates are all to anxious to run the asylum. I would suggest the adage that "time will tell", but "been there, done that" seems a more accurate expectation.
 
Might as well just get rid of the "warning level" next to everyones names, it seems it is no longer of any need on the site.

IMO, if someone can not conduct themself in a professional manner, then it needs to be seen for just that. IMO, the post by Rich is in order. People need to see these actions before ever dealing with a person. If his actions are not in a respectfull manner, then it needs to go on this record. People would never see how he conducts himself, if it was not added on this record. IMO, the lack of class shown by Greg is a great factor when looking to buy from him, or looking at him to be a good guy. JMHO. :) Can we say that Greg is a true GOOD GUY? You be the judge. :rolleyes:

Ok Bobby....it doesn't apply because this is not regarding business or a business deal. I am sure everyone here is an Angel and never says anything to another person when their pissed? You ever get in a fight? Do you curse? Are you a Mormon? Do you drink? Smoke? Well if you do then I am not doing business with you....
