In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Guess how many!!!!!

Sorry to hear about your other gal slugging out and, not yet, passing what's left in her. Hopefully, when she does, there will be at least a few fertile ones.
Aaron is right about waiting some days before intervening.
Also, only check on her once a day. Twice would be the very most. Too many checks could cause the gal to over stress.

I have a friend he was a curator of the Houston Zoo and head of the reptile department for many years and I'll talk to him about your egg bound female.

I'm not 100% sure she is egg bound. I have seen pics of egg bound females and she does not look like that. But is it possible that she drops a because she has to many to grow? Or a calcium deposit? I'll post a pic. I pulpated the female again and I felt 8 bumps.

I hope she is able to pass them all! The one in the photo is a slug. I would recommend a trip to the vet. The sooner the better.

When I had a slugbound boa (live birth not eggs), I was advised to give her soaks in luke warm water. Slugs generally don't have as much moisture as eggs so the water could soak into her cloaca along with the movement of her might help her pass them. So you might want to try that?

In my case, it didn't work, she had an oversized slug that clogged up everything, by the time I took her to the vet, the babies that were blocked inside had died and she had gone septic, so she died as well. I wish I had taken her to the vet earlier but hindsight is 20-20.
:(

good luck! I hope she's okay!

"This is my other female"

Well she got clogged after laying 2 egg and I asissted her with the rest. She had a total of 8 slugs. I wonder if my male didn't do the job or if the female was to small? It's the 7 in the pic plus the one she dropped a few days ago. I Pulpated her to make sure she doesn't have more eggs and it seems that she doesnt. I'll know in the next few days.

On another note. The female of this thread just dropped her skin so we should see eggs very soon! I know she has lots of fertile eggs due to her size. My female that slugged out did not get this big at all. She seemed like she didn't have any eggs but to my surprise she had slugs...:/

Man this wait is killing me!!! It's been 5 days since she shed and still no eggs!! I hate the wait! Lol.

Is this normal?

Waiting is always one of the hardest parts. Yes, it is normal to hate waiting.;)

As for the snake not laying, after five days since her pre-lay shed, don't worry. That is normal too.
It can take up to 7-10 days (+/-) after the pre-lay shed.
