In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

i'm new on this forum but a member of several others and have been on the boards for a while now, i'm sure that i'll find a friendly face that i recognize here. i am primarily a corn snake breeder but am currently also working with some other snake species and a few lizards. ummm...i spend a lot of time on several boards because i love getting to know other herpers and sharing knowledge. several people i have met through forums i now talk to regularly on the phone and have met a couple of them in person. dang it's hard to talk about myself. anyway i hope to learn a lot here and hopefully share a bit of what i've learned, and hopefully make a couple of new friends in the herp community.

That's quite the smorgasbord! I think you'll fit right in. :dancer01: Welcome to Fauna.

thanks for the kind welcome everybody. i'm usually pressed for time, but i'll drop in every so often and i'm sure that i'll have something to talk about sooner or later. as soon as i get a chance i'll cruise through some of the other boards here and see what's going on.

Hey Justin and welcome! Where are you located in Illinois as I will be getting out of the army soon and I am moving to central Illinois (Canton) this summer.

i'm quite a ways south of Canton, i am familiar with where that town is at, i have family in the Farmington and Elmwood area near there. i live in Crawford County in south eastern Illinois near the Indiana Border.
