    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Looking for individuals who would like to be future guests for live weekly broadcast for HERP CHAT. I'd like to host a 1-2 hour live chat for the herp community with the possibility of utilizing audio and video across the web. Topics include but not limited to discussions relating to husbandry, shipping, health issues, import/export, genetics, beginner issues, hobby v. reg. biz, specific animals or general discussion. All ideas and persons welcome to be the highlighted guest and I will find a way to hep promote your business/website in the weeks leading up to the chat as well as in the weeks following.

The considered method for this will be via Yahoo! messenger as it is a free download and has easy-to-use controls for audio and visual chat options. For instance, if you were speaking about a specific species, visual aids would be possible for all to see.

Final details are currently being worked out and I am certain that a very organized venue can be established.

Once these are set up, then anyone who wishes to help promote these chats will be invited to do so freely as I wish to do this for the entire herping community. The last time I participated in a chat similar to this it was strictly limited to hand typed chat and I felt that it was a limited venue. I am looking to take this to the next level utilizing free-to-use programs that can be downloaded bug-free and set up quickly.
