    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Guy Brunke AKA Guyco Gecko - Theif, liar, flipper

Guy Brunke also thinks that female crested geckos should be bred at 24g. He has several videos up, and in all of them advertises HALF grown animals as "ready for your boys now" this is DANGEROUS and harmful to the animal.

A crested gecko should not be bred until 35g and even that is pushing it. I guess I must have mammoths since all of my breeding females weigh in close to 50 grams (AKA a normal, healthy weight).

Suggesting that these animals be bred and cared for in this manner is sickening and I hope NO ONE buys from Guy Brunke because he obviously has no idea what he is doing. And he is suggesting breeding and care practices that will lead his buyers to calcium crashes, egg binding and stunted females.

23g is "a really big girl"??? That's a barely half grown animal. I'm shocked and disgusted that this man still has no integrity or knowledge of the species in his care. I shudder to think about how bad off the rest of his rhacodactylus are.

DO NOT BUY FROM HIM.
 
That is really poor to "publish" something that a person new to reptiles will see and take as proper breeding sizes and practice and possibly severely injure or kill their new pet.
Hopefully no one will come across his sale ads. Very bad practice there.:NoNo:
 
I've seen plenty of fat geckos at 50 grams. It definitely does not mean its health is good.

Guys videos currently do not say these females are ready to breed.

It does state they are ready for your boys now. Pretty much does say they are of size. I really think one even stated that 24 grams was of size. Will have to look again at them.
Some geckos at 50 grams are fat, some are not. Just depends on the gecko itself.
 
To be fair to pei, the videos linked no longer say what they said earlier in the day. They now play music tracks. Whoops.

His ads used to state the size, i.d.# of the animal and that yep, they were ready for your boys.....

I'm not vouching for Guy. I've never had a dealing with him or anyone associated with his business.

In the future, try to get screen shots. It will make for a more solid case on the BOI.

Can you do that with youtube. He had a video of each animal he had listed for sale.
It is good he got rid of the bad information.
 
Yeah the videos there aren't captioned. Or I would have, I'm all for screen caps, as you can see from previous pages in this thread.

Its so funny, he consistently behaves in a way that he KNOWS is wrong, trying to scam anyone he can into buying from him. But as soon as he's caught he changes. He has the knowledge obviously, and just chooses to ignore what's right, or he would have left those videos untouched with his terrible recommendations in them.

Just like a kid caught (AGAIN) with a hand in the cookie jar, way to go Guy!
 
While I do not think Guy is a bad guy, I also do not think he realizes the extent of his lowballing, and that people have now labeled him as such. There is a fine line between trying to get a good deal and low balling.
