    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Halloween Hissing Cockroach ( Elliptorhina javanica )
Smaller, softer and more colorful than the standard Madagascan Hisser. Nymphs of the Halloween Hissing roach are jet black but quickly start gaining their popular colors as they grow. The pronotum of this species is represented in two color forms; red (pic 1) and black (pic 2) We recommend using Climb Stopper silicone grease to keep this species inside their enclosure. :exactly:
