    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I can sort-of buy that she had a roommate who passed old checks of hers from a closed account. But then listing the animals here on Fauna? Ironically (or not), Candace also made this post (just last month):

Ok, I don't know how this site works, but she has/had the Fat Tail up for bid starting at $5 + shipping. This is OUR Fat tail! It's actually in the cage she bought/stole from me! That's why I posted the post I did on her page! It is pretty bad since we use to keep the "cave" damp for it, but it looks pretty dry in the pic.
 
This is easily the most interesting BOI thread that I have read, and I read a lot of them when I get bored. When it started, I was fully on Candace's side, and though Renee was crazy (no offense intended, that's just what I thought at first glance). But now I can't believe how much the course of the thread and my opinion has changed.

I would never deal with Candace now, that's if she can somehow still buy/sell animals from jail/prison when she ends up there eventually. It's funny she hasn't shown her face here since the new evidence was put up by Dennis...
 
Just one more thing. She started this site on 4/2/2011. One week after she took my reps. Does that not seem odd to anyone? Right after telling my Sister that she doesn't deal with cold things. I think I have given enough proof for those that are following. Thank you to all that have followed and came through. Please, my only message is to trust no one, no matter how sweet and innocent they act and promise future pictures and make you feel secure with their word. I hate it, but DO NOT TRUST ANYONE! As much as I don't like to say it, people can't be trusted. As I said before, I can only hope that My Blue Tongues, my Husband's Fat tail and Leopard Gecko, my Son's Legless and OUR Uromastyx are in a loving, wonderful home. The price she DIDN'T pay is no where near their worth! Please take care of them and as silly as it sounds, give them all a kiss for me. Thank you for your time and effort!

Because of the different angles of the pictures that Candace posted and from Reneee of her fat tail, It was very difficult to make a match.

But rotating them around and taking into account how the tail is pushed up against the glass in one picture and a side view and the other is from a overhead shot of the other, I captured the same section of tail on both pictures.

You even told me that YOU wrote her a check and that SHE cashed it and it CLEARED.

This was the last email response I got from "Kira" I specifially told her that the Uros did NOT eat anything but peas, even when I tried to mix up the feed with some collards. Why would she email me something like this.... Oh and BTW, her boyfriend told me she died in a car accident about a week or so before I got this email. Scott Carrier is a strong part of her scam.
 
Candace, It is a big world and even though the reptile community is getting bigger and bigger every year, it is still a relatively small community.

You thought you would pull the wool over the readers eyes here. Some of us have been around this corner many times here. It didn't work.

Well, one of my primary hopes, in this, (other than to have Candace arrested) is that everyone, who decides to read this thread, will take the time to get past the first handful of "nutty" pages to see the truth about Candace.
 
What got me so upset was that I told her that the Uros ate PEAS only, they would only eat peas even when mixed with Collards, carrots, etc. So, for her to tell me that they would not eat, it really made me upset... to say the least. They NEVER ate Crickets or worms. Not in my care. Ok, I'm lying. My Husband woud hold a super worm in front of them on occation, and they would totally love it! Please keep in mind my husband has been overseas for about 6 monthsat a time though, and I don't do worms. SORRY!
