    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

I was just curious to see if anyone has dealt with this guy and how it turned out. A reference to what you bought and how closely it matched description is also appreciated.

I have purchased many geckos from Kevin Hanley, and I have been to his house to see his collection. I believe that Kevin is one of the true good guys in the hobby. Buy what you want from Kevin and I am confident that you will not be disappointed. I don't know if a few purchases, several email discussions, and being set up next to him at a few shows is enough for him to consider me a friend, but for all he has helped me, I am proud to consider him my friend.

I've done a purchase with Kevin. Good guy - represents his animals fairly - good shipping, the whole deal was painless.

He even threw in a bonus leopard for me - a nice thing to do, I thought.

Kevin's the real-deal. There should be zero worries for you.
 
I have had several dealings with Kevin and Sue Hanley. They are some of the best people I've met in the business. They have great stock and produce great stuff. You can't go wrong if you buy from them.
 
I have spoken to Kevin and Sue on many occasions, as well as been to his house. I've seen his animals at shows, and wouldn't hesitate to purchase from him again.
 
Kevin Hanley - Good Guy !

Kevin is awesome. I see him every year in Daytona, and he's always got wonderful animals on his table. I've purchased Thayeri, Lystrophis, and Ruthvens from him, and all were better than advertised.
No hesitation dealing with Hanleys Herps !

if i remember correctly...

,,,kevin hanley was used many years ago in the making of somekinda horror/sci-fi movie. He was used either for technical support or his animals or something like that. Of course, snakes were involved in the movie, I can't really remember how.

I think I remember reading an article on it in "Fangoria" magazine, this had to be 15 plus years ago.

I guess the only relevance to this topic I can bring by my post is that he is well known in a good way, and has been around for a while. I like to think natural selection gradually takes out the "bad guys".

If anyone else remembers this please let me know...i'd love to dig up the mag but it is long gone...

Kevin Hanley is a great guy

I purchased a clutch of stimson's from Kevin early this summer and was very pleased with the way the deal went. Also, I met him while I was at the Daytona show and he is definitely a great guy. I would not hesitate to do business with him again.
