In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

We've had various birthday cards thoughout the years for Rich, and I wanted to start this one a few days early so people who don't visit every day could post a Happy Birthday wish.

Thank you Big Meanie for the hours and days and years you have given to us, and for this wonderful site.

I hope this next year brings you peace and happiness and that you and Connie have a long and happy retirement ahead, filled with the things you always wanted to do, but were to busy for because you were here making sure all of us could say our say about the industry Bad Guys.

You are the best.

Awesome idea, Lucille!

Thank you, Big Meanie, for this awesome website and for doing it as long as you have.
Regardless what happens here, it's been fun (for us), and I thank you for that, as well.
I hope you look forward to retirement and are able to enjoy it as it should be enjoyed!
All the best for your birthday AND your future!

Thanks Rich

Thanks for putting up with all our crap for far longer than anybody else would have. You are either rather patient or kinda twisted (most likely a little bit of both) but either way my hat's off to you for doing what you have done for as long as you have. I certainly hope there is a way that the BOI can stay and I will do what I can to help that happen if at all possible. If it stays or goes you're still alright in my book regardless. Have a great Birthday, retirement and life ya Big Meanie.

Happy Birthday Rich, the work you have done (and continue to do) here is appreciated more than you will ever know.

Happy Birthday Rich. As those before me have said I appreciate all you have done to improve the ability of us to get information, and not get ripped off.

Hope you have a great birthday, and you and Connie have a great retirement.

Happy Birthday Rich :)

I thank you for this site, and our ability to post the way we do here on fauna. Not many forums allow such freedom of speech as you do. I will continue, as long as i am able, to pay for fauna and help this site remain. Id very much like to not see it go!

Happy Birthday Rich!

I would also like to say thank you so much for this site (and putting up with all the headaches). I know there's been discussion over the years again and again about shutting down the BOI and I am so thankful that you've kept it going as long as you have, it is an invaluable resource.

As much as I will hate to see you go, wishing you a wonderful retirement and many years of peace and happiness.

I had started this a few days early so that everyone who wished could sign in, today is the actual 'birthday day'

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Darn... I thought I had deleted my birthdate from my profile.... :shootfoot

I'm 59 years old today. Can that be right? Something has to be wrong here. I don't FEEL like I'm that old... Well mostly not. And I have no clue who that guy is in the mirror. Certainly not my mind's eye image of myself.

Hopefully next year, though, I'll actually be able to CELEBRATE my birthday. My parents had the lack of forethought to put my birthday smack dab at the PEAK of my busy season with the critters. But since I will be retiring this year and they will all be gone by this time next year, maybe finally I can do something fun on that day. Actually, now that I think of it, for the last several years I decided to postpone my birthday until later on in the year when things slowed down. But I always forgot about it. Yes, it's true, the memory IS the second thing to go....

Anyway, thanks for the well wishes. Now I've got to go pack up some shipments to go out and put away new baby hatchings, and feed the ones already set up, and workers are coming in, and, and, and..... Well, you get the picture. Just another day in paradise around here...
