• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.
  • Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Happy Birthday Rich (Webslave)

Thanks for the well wishes! Lordy, I hope I'm not in for too many more birthdays. I can't say that I have any desire to live forever.

Connie made me a pineapple upside down cake for my birthday, and I got a Ruger .22 pistol as a present. She's trying to come up with some place we can go today, but here it is noontime, and I just can't come up with any place I really feel like going. Probably will just take the Jeep out into the national forest for a little ride in the "wilderness". Haven't done that for a while. Of course, with all the rain we've been having lately, might be more mudholes out there then I will feel like driving through.

So what should a 67 year old feel like? I feel like I should feel all ancient and creaky, but I really don't. Yeah, I get a little creaky after doing yard work and the muscles complain, but all in all, I feel pretty good. Knock on wood. Going on for a physical and blood work next week. Last year I did that and the doc just looked me over and the blood work results, and said "unless you have something happen, come see me next year for your next physical." So I guess that was good news.

Anyway, thank all of you for making this site what it is. Often I think this site is doing well in spite of my "help", not because of it.

Happy happy birthday, Rich! Hope you and Connie enjoyed every moment :)

For all you do, :IThankYou

Thank you all. Yes, it was a pretty good day. Except for the rain, of course. But the Jeep didn't seem to mind getting muddy. :)
