Well the story goes: Years back I breed a stripe to a stripe and produced 37 stripe babies with one albino? So I repeated the breeding and produced 24 babies no albinos. Unfortunately mom passed before I could prove any thing more out. I have breed dad on 3 different tries with visuals and none took.
Fast forward a few years. I held back 3 pairs (off course the albino) This year
I breed the albino to the full stripe and got this:

Do you see anything out of the ordinary???

and this??

Here we go again!! 23 babies no slugs one dead(not sure why)full stripe and one paradox albino???

Really sweet litter, all them stripes are amazing. But left with lots of questions, that's what makes boas fun!

looks like a paradox, which some how might explain the single albino baby births... but don't ask me how. When you get an animal that has has something genetically there that naturally shouldn't be there I guess you never really know or be able to 100% predict outcomes. I believe I heard even with breeding adult paradox snakes that look more albino to another carrier there are no guarantees you'll even get albinos. It actually seems there are more of these guys showing up now then I remember in previous years, or maybe I'm just noticing more. Either way though they are really neat looking snakes, nothing looks the same. It might just be the picture but she looks like she may have a little twisted at her rear, I have fingers crossed she is okay. All them stripes are awesome, mom did a great job hope she is well too! Some beautiful babies you have Joe, keep us posted on them.

A load of little beauties there, along with a mystery...good luck figuring that one out! Either way, I hope it survives and thrives for you!

I think it was that the paradoxes were turning out to act as hets rather than visual albinos in general? And the paradox itself doesn't appear to be hereditary? It's been a while since I read up on it.

Great litter, those are some amazing stripes!

Sorry about that I just re-read what I wrote, I think Aprils right
The paradox's are always fun to talk about but there's a to many beauties to focus on just that one. Congrats again Joe & keep us posted!

Well the original male is a visual albino no paradox what so ever so I do not really have a definite answerer yet. I need to figure what to breed him to next to prove him out or repeat this breeding? (I really do like the results) I may just wait the 2 years to see if one of his sons proves out?
Now for the hard parts which ones do I hold back??

Can you get updated pics of the litter? That albino may just be underdeveloped. I know an underdeveloped hypo looks pretty unique at times.

relooking at the pics, that paradox looks kinked up? Did you keep it or cull it?
I'd repeat the breeding and breed the male to unrelated female and later breed one of the sons to unrelated female, see how much striping passes on. Are they from the PK Stripe line?

I still have the paradox it is in sad shape tho. It has developed a lot since birth and some of the kinks straightened out. I will see what happens when feeding time comes weather or not it will feed. I want to make sure I give it every chance to live a healthy life before putting it down. It will(if it survives) go into the pet rack.
They are I believe PK stripe. I may give the female the year off seeing how this was her first and breed the male to a proven het. We will have to see how she looks.
I did breed one of her brothers to a hypo and the hypo gave me a partho litter so weather or not there is some thing in the blood line we will see. I do have 2 other females I held back from the same litter that are up to size so we will see what happens this upcoming season.
