A few months back I purchased a trio of bearded dragons from Harold Murray through reptibid. He was willing to work with me through problem after problem. To start off with, I asked him if he would hold the beardies for me for a week, which he was willing to do if I was capable of giving him a 10% downpayment, which I did the following day. Then as I was getting ready to pay him PayPal froze my account as I hadn't used it in some time, and the suddin change in usage appeared strange to them. PayPal also sent him a message stating that I may not actually be me, I may be commiting fraud and using somebody else's paypal account. It took me over a week to prove to PayPal that I was in fact me, and that I did in fact live at the address they had for me. He waited very patiently for me to sort all of this out with PayPal. By the time he actually got paid he had been holding them for me for like 3 weeks. Not only was he super patient and understanding while I got the money together and to him, but his animals are AWESOME!
When I recieved them the first thing that I noticed that I liked was his packaging job. He packaged them better than any other reptile I've ever recieved. I was impressed even before I took them out of their deli cups! Once I got them out and looked at them I was extremely impressed. They were nice big fat healthy bearded dragons, and their colors were absolutly TO DIE FOR. The male he sent me is by far the brightest and prettiest dragon I have ever seen in person. He is fluorescent orange, like the color of jello, all of him. Only one of them was missing a toe, which was well advertised and pictured in the auction, and other than that the animals were complete with full tails and toes. All three of them have the most beautiful coloration I can imagine on a beardie. They were all even tame and handleable, not skittish like some baby beardies can be. They eat fantastically and have grown like weeds.
I was somewhat cautious dealing with him as he had no posts on here, but had a few reptibid feedbacks which said good things. I guess I was mostly cautious because he was so understanding and willing to wait for me to get everything figured out. Part of me figured he was trying to scam me, so the longer I took getting the money to him, the better the reason he had to not ship to me.
I would recommend that anyone looking for a bearded dragon, or anyone considering purcahsing from him, go for it! I would buy from him over and over again. I will try to post pictures soon.
