Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I'm not looking to buy anything from this guy, but my brother is interested. I'm not looking into getting into the ethics of venomoids, just asking if this guy is legit and sells quality animals. You do not have to reply here, send me a message if you like.
 
My name is Espedio Fink., dont quote me but from what i have heard is that the guy jay from exotic jungle sends ou phone books so then after its dropped off he can say that he sent u a hipment of whatever he wants and its your job to hae to prove he sent u it. but im not saying this id use caution and check with some other people i beleive the one i heard this about name is jay is from ft.lauderdale.

You are mistaken on your statement. Jay has been around for quite a while & you will hear only good things about him, his animals & his business ethics.Your thinking of Jason Vantassel that sent the phone books.

I have done a couple of things with Jay, and he is one of the most honest people you will come across, and he goes above and beyond the call when it comes to customer service! You shouldn't have any problems! ....Neil
 
I have purchased three cobras from Jay. Two were wild caught and have done very well. One was captive and came to me very thin but has done well since. Evan Stahl
 
Nothing but good things to say about Jay, we did a trade a while back and he was fantastic with his communication and shipping.

Jay is a great guy to do business with and I have dealt with him several times and have been to where he breeds his animals and seen how he does things and he is first rate !!!  Espidio .... you are sadly mistaken with the phone book thing I am sure because I have done business with Jay and I have sent other people to him and all have had good things to say about him.  Not only has Jay done business here for a long time but before he came to florida he as doing the same thing.  You should be more careful how you talk about someone when it can affect their way of life unless you know for a fact what you are talking about, which in this case you don't.

I would have to agree with the positives here, Jay seemed to be an honest, great guy to me. I got a baby Mellers chameleon from him
a little while back, It showed up in "heatstroke" condition.Sadly, the baby Mellers died in four days or so; And Jay still replaced the animal for FREE! Dispite of his DOA,replacent only Term. He is Cool in my book!!!

Jay is definitely one of the good guys. I just returned from picking up a rather nice trio of albino & het monocles that I bought from him.

Jay supplied me with pics of each snake that I purchased, and shipped them in a very timely manner. The snakes were well-packed, and arrived healthy. All in all, a transaction couldn't have gone any smoother.
 
This is not to say anything bad about Jay, but of the three cobras I've had, the spec I got from him was the only one that wouldn't feed. It took me sending it to Mitch down at Diamond to get her started, and even then she was still stubborn. Only rather recently did she kick it into gear, and that took de-boweling her mice for her or giving her small reptiles to eat. She's looking very healthy now after going through her slim period, and her new owner is very happy with her. Probably she just got really stressed from the shipping or something, so this comment is pretty much to let anyone who reads this know that shipping can sometimes stress an animal badly and not to blame the seller too much. Always be leary though. Jay seems to be a pretty good guy, responds fairly quickly to e-mail, and sends when it's best for you. http://rvsnakes.garbersoft.net
 
Baby naja are sometimes difficult feeders...that is something you should know before you buy them...check with the seller to make sure they are feeding.  It is also not unusual to have to brain pinks to get baby naja to eat them.  I'm currently assist feeding 1.1 nigricollis, it's part of the territory.  Therefore your post is basically irrelevant because you didn't say Jay told you the snake was feeding...and use your last name!!
