    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Has anyone dealt with [email protected]

hence, that is why i cruise craigslist for pure entertainment, not to ever, ever, ever buy anything off there (live animals, of course, i am speaking of).

i have (for fun) replied for animals and feeders off craigslist a couple times, and it is amazing the idiots that post/attempt to sell on there.

cl is good for a laugh every so often

I used to sell feeders when I lived in Arizona, and I used Craigslist as my source of advertising. I made quite a bit of money, and had a bunch of happy customers (NOT one unhappy customer).

I actually had better luck overall with the quality of Phoenix Craigslist users vs the quality in other areas. I think you have it easier in your neck of the woods, from my experience over there.

But, there were still laughable people/ads.
 
I havent any experience with cl in any other area, but if Phoenix area is good, id fear what the other areas of the country hold

It's super easy to pick out the straight up idiots off cl, but sometimes you have converse with some people to see the dishonest, trolling idiots

Thanks for the tip that Phoenix is the good cl place, if I move ever, cl will be more off my source list than it is

All in all, sorry about the experience with this idiot

I normally enjoy your posts and respect what you have to say... but I've got to say something about this. Random trans-phobic comments aren't cool.

Making a slur/joke about Craigslist being for "hooking up with [negative word for gay men]" or "hooking up with [negative racial slur]" wouldn't be acceptable, and it's no more acceptable to make the same "joke" about transsexuals/transgendered folks.

I don't think anyone is "justifying" the behavior, I think that some are just pointing out the OPs part in getting the response she did AFTER the "Yeah, right." That response right there could have been indicative that the person on the other end wasn't as big a breeder as she thought, or a joke, and she should have moved on.

People rarely respond positively to sermons.:shrug01:

She warned us, but we have no idea what happened from the breeder's end, and it is unfair (imo) to lable him and negatively impact his business at this point.

When people start saying why the OP was wrong (in a case like this)
that's when it is bashing. It's different to say something like "I don't think this needed a bad guy thread" but once you start saying things like she did this to herself:rolleyes:

Let's be realistic here, if I got a response like "yeah right", I would probably think they didn't understand what I was asking for, thought I was joking, ect, ect. So to email him back isn't really out of line and especially doesn't make her at fault.

Her "preaching" oh give me a break. I thought you have been around long enough. If you claim to know the difference between bashing and opinions I figured you would know "preaching".

Either way, this is beginning to get old. As I said I appreciate the simple heads up that this was. I will take it for what it's worth.

The bolded are words that would put him firmly in my "BG" list. Lots of spammers use multiple email addresses, I would avoid him like the plaque.

*Since you knew this site was here, do you mind telling me why you didn't use this one in the first place to find feeders/breeders of the quantity that you wanted? I could have directed (any of us could have) you to a professonal.:shrug01: I'm just asking, you can ignore the question if you like.

I apologize. While it shouldn't have been geared towards transsexuals, my post should have read, if you are looking for a quality feeder service, a public place that's used by people to have casual sexual encounters with strangers is probably not the best place.

I totally agree with your point, that Craigslist is often shady as heck and good customer service is *not* the norm there. I have had a few good buy and sell transactions, and some equally bad ones. It certainly does attract folks that wouldn't know how to treat customers in good service bit them in the butt.

But some of my nearest and dearest are various forms of transsexual, transgender, and otherwise gender variant, and so even when people say things like you did,even in a clearly joking manner, it raises my hackles to see people I care for essentially reduced to a slur or the butt of a joke. I really do appreciate the apology and reconsideration of what you said.

:eek: I didn't know this! I've posted things for sale or rehome on there with no issues with the people that responded.
 
I've bought snakes and feeders on Craigslist and made some good contacts doing so but I've also ran into lots of idiots. It's not worth letting it bother you or wasting any more of your time.
