    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Has anyone here ever dealt with Dave Lawson and actually purchased any of his animals?  I know everyone probably has their opinions from the Snake Pit burglary thread, but I don't care about that.

I have been in contact with him and he seems like a good guy.  I just wanted to hear from other people that have done business with him.

Any info would be much appreciated.

I do not know him or anything about him, but I do know that he several animals on his site that he is representing as his that are overseas for sale from exporters there that he is trying to sell. He also seriously misrepresents the rarity of many burms and retics on his site with quotes like "the only one there is" when in reality that is not close to the truth. Todd personally I have had dealing with Dave and everythign went really well he gave me excellent animal at great price. I would buy more but I'm a college student so I'm on a limited budget speically if you get traffic ticket or unexpected bills that sneak up on ya.

I have snakes that for whatever reason are overseas but I still own them.

didnt you get caught using some of the Barkers pics a while back for animals you didnt have? I remeber a hole fiasco a couple years ago something about those pics being the Barkers and animals you were claiming you had that were really over seas, something along those lines, tis ben so long I dont remeber the whole deal any more, I just know that every time I see your name red flags go up...............
 
Yes,You are right there was a big ta do but the part that you are forgetting is that Dave Barker posted that those snakes were mine.They were never overseas.
 
I kindda figure if a person had bad dealings in the past, it doesn''t mean they will now. People change over time, but if they keep having bad dealings then a RED flag should def. go up. Dave have been an awesome animal vendor in my opion.

Well Dave, I have had dealers overseas offer me animals that are the same as ones on your website. They have them there and tell me they are for sale. Your name never came up. Also, you state very clearly on your site that you have the only existing animals of some morphs while you have one of only two blonde hypo burms. All of those statements are at best lack of knowledge if I give you the benefit of the doubt. There have been and are now several of many of the variants on your site that you claim to be unique. It is also true that many of those animals are overseas for the simple reason that they either can not be exported from where they are and/or nobody is willing to pay the asking price for them. I very nearly bought a sub adult pair of hypo burms from Malaysia a few months ago.

If you are trying to sell snakes that are not yours, that are overseas, I have no issue with that as long as you are honest about it. You are however, representing animals as yours, implying that they are in your collection when in fact they are overseas and for sale from dealers there that own and possess them. Like I said, I don't know you and have nothing personal to say about you good or bad, but what I have said above is something you should consider. Evan Stahl
 
Evan, I am sorry it was misinterpeted, but every animal on my website is owned by me. Several animals are overseas are owned by me, and using Koh as an agent are up for resale. Please show me where I am incorrect in showing the rarity of any snake I have for sale (keep in mind that I haven't updated my site in about a year). Please point out where I am incorrect.
